- Arrange the salmon fillets in a 10-cup FoodSaver Preserve and Marinate Container. Pour most of the marinade over the salmon, reserving about ½ cup. Place the lid on the container. Turn the valve so the arrow points to the Marinate/Open position.

- Spoon the sauce over the salmon, then garnish with chopped cilantro. Serve with steamed rice and broccoli.

ORANGE-GINGER GLAZED SALMON
Salmon is my version of fast food. It's already so wonderfully flavorful on its own that I don't have to put much effort into it. A brush of oil and a sprinkle of salt and pepper, plus a few minutes in a hot oven or skillet and dinner is ready. In this recipe I whisk together marmalade, soy sauce and some freshly grated ginger, then I add a squeeze of fresh orange juice, pour it over the salmon, and then into the oven it goes. The result is sticky, sweet, tangy and oh so flavorful!

SALMON WITH GINGER AND ORANGE SAUCE
This recipe is super simple, tastes wonderful is a low carb meal and only takes 30 minutes to make. I love fish and salmon is no exception, it has been on special at the moment which makes it an even better buy when you want a fish dinner. I have included the ingredients below of the vegetables I served this with for two so either serve it this way or it is also good with rice or noodles if you want to add some more carbs. The sauce would be enough to drizzle over 4 average size salmon fillets, mine were large. If you wanted to have enough liquid for 4 to go with rice or noodles and wanted the extra liquid. I think the sauce ingredients would would work fine doubled, I would not add too much more ginger though and the chili amount is fine as is.

Steps:
- Add all marinade ingredients to a small bowl and mix together.
- Add salmon to a glass container or plastic bag and pour marinade sauce overtop. Container should be small enough so that salmon can soak up the sauce. Seal the bag/container and let sit in fridge for 1-2 hours before cooking. Salmon can also marinade overnight in the fridge.
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place salmon fillet skin side down on the baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until salmon is easily flaked with a fork. (If you have small salmon fillets, just cook for less time).
- Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat with cooking oil. Once the pan is hot, add the salmon so skin side is facing up. Cook for 2-3 minutes then flip over so skin side is down. Pour the leftover marinade sauce over top of the salmon and cook for another 3-5 minutes. I like to watch the clock during this time because I'm not a fan of overcooked salmon.
- At this point, depending on how thick the salmon is, the sides of the salmon should have just turned white and it should be cooked. To check you can use a fork to see if the salmon flakes easily. If it does, and the insides aren't translucent, then it's cooked. Remove from heat.
- Heat barbecue to medium heat, place salmon on the grill, skin side up. Cover and let cook for about 5 minutes, then flip. Pour extra marinade over top and cook an additional 5 minutes. Salmon will be done when easily flaked with a fork.
- Lightly coat the inside of the air fryer tray or basket with olive oil or cooking spray. Add the salmon fillets skin side up to the tray. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes, then flip them over and pour leftover marinade on top. Cook an additional 10 minutes, or until fully cooked.

Steps:
- Squeeze the orange and have ready the juice.
- Place in a pan the olive oil and let it heat for a while. If it is possible, choose to use a grill type pan (that is not with a flat surface). This will give a better look to your fillets.
- As soon as the oil is hot enough place your fillets in the pan. Let them cook for 2-3 minutes on one side and then turn it over to cook both sides. When you turn it over, season with salt and pepper and add the half portion of ginger over the two fillets.
- 2-3 minutes later pour the half of the orange juice over the two fillets and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Then turn them over again and add the rest of the ginger and orange juice and let it cook until the juices evaporate and an orange sauce is formed.
- Garnish the dish with some rice and steamed vegetables.
- Enjoy!

Steps:
- Put the ginger ball on a board and slice it thinly. Pile up the slices from the ball and cut through them them to make thin matchstick strips. Put these into a bowl that's large enough to hold the salmon and add 1 tbsp of the syrup from the jar.
- Peel the garlic cloves and slice them thinly, then add them to the bowl with the ginger. Stir in the soy sauce, orange zest, orange juice and red chilli.
- Put the salmon in the bowl with the marinade. Season with lots of fresh ground black pepper and turn a couple of times, ending with the fish skin side up. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 220c (200c fan), Gas 7. Line a small baking tay with baking parchment. Take the salmon fillets out of the marinade, scraping off any bits and pieces, and place them on the tray, skin side down. Season with more ground black pepper. Bake for 12 - 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon.
- Meanwhile prepare the sauce. Pour the marinade into a tiny non stick pan and bring to the boil. Cook for 6 minutes or until the liquid has reduced and the garlic is softened. You need enough of the marinade to pour over the salmon but not swamp it completely.
- Put the salmon fillets on warm plates, carefully lifting off the skin as you go. Spoon the sauce over the salmon and serve with a small portion of rice or new potatoes and some steamed or stir fried vegetables.
