This recipe is a little different from the other Tamale Breads already posted. I use canned Hormel Turkey Chili and ground turkey, but will post it as given to me

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Brown ground beef.
- Drain well.
- Add taco seasoning and water to ground beef.
- Prepare corn muffin mix as directed on box.
- Mix ground beef and corn muffin mixture.
- Spray 10x15 pan with cooking spray.
- Pour mixture into pan.
- Level mixture.
- Bake for 25 minutes.

A quick and easy hot dip that's guaranteed to be a hit! I have never seen this recipe anywhere else. I got it when I was in college and it was years before I tried it. Now it is a staple of all my parties.

- Place the tamales, chili, diced tomatoes, and processed cheese into a slow cooker. Set heat on high, and cook, stirring occasionally until cheese is melted. Reduce heat to low to keep the dip warm while serving. Serve with corn chips or tortilla chips.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a 9x13-inch baking pan, spray non-stick spray and then spread chili.
- Open can of beef tamales and remove paper from each tamale as you place on top of the chili.
- Sprinkle with onion and cheese.
- Bake 30 minutes or until hot.
- MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:.
- Spread chili in 2-quart casserole.
- Top with tamales; sprinkle with onion.
- Microwave on HIGH 4 minutes.
- Sprinkle cheese over casserole and microwave 3 minutes more or until hot.
- Cover and allow to stand 3 minutes.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Unwrap tamales and cut into thick chunks. Place a portion of the chopped tamales in the bottom of a 2 quart casserole dish. Then layer the onions, cheese, tortilla chips and chili without beans.
- Repeat this until all ingredients are used, topping off with cheese and chips. Then sprinkle with the water.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 40 to 45 minutes.
