  • Add the sour cream, Hidden Valley® Ranch Dip Mix, avocado, garlic powder, and lime juice to a blender and blend until smooth, scraping down the sides of the blender as needed.
  • Transfer the dip to a bowl and top with the reserved avocado. Serve with vegetable chips.

This is my boyfriend's mother's recipe. She is a wonderful cook and has given me the best recipes. This avocado dip is truly amazing and addictive! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

1 cup parsley
2 green onions
4 avocados
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup Hellmann's mayonnaise
1 teaspoon beef bouillon
1/8 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon dill
3/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Just blitz all ingredients in a food processor or mix by hand. That's it! Serve with your favorite tortilla chips or anything you'd like. If there are leftovers just squeeze a bit of lemon juice on top and place plastic wrap right on the dip to prevent browning.

1 cup mayonnaise
1 medium avocado, cut into chunks
1 medium jalapeno pepper, seeds and ribs removed
1 medium tomatillo, husked and chopped
½ medium onion, cut into chunks
1 bunch fresh cilantro, stems removed
2 cloves garlic
1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon milk, or as needed

Steps:

  • Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, avocado, jalapeno, tomatillo, onion, cilantro, garlic, ranch mix, and salt in a blender or food processor; blend until smooth, gradually adding milk until desired thickness.
  • Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving to give time for the flavors to meld

2 green onions, minced
60 ml coarsely chopped fresh cilantro
4 avocados, from mexico peeled and pitted
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 juice of one lime
500 ml beet hummus
375 ml store-bought roasted peppers, chopped
2 mini cucumbers, sliced into thin rounds
300 g hot-smoked salmon, shredded
1 fresh chervil, leaves (to garnish)
1 pinch salt and pepper
1 cracker, sliced baguette and endive leaves for dipping

Steps:

  • 1. In a bowl, mix tomatoes with jalapeño, green onions and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper and set aside; drain any excess liquid.
  • 2. In another bowl, use a fork to mash avocados from Mexico with garlic and lime juice. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
  • 3. Pour beet hummus into a bowl of approximately 1.5 litres. Add in layers: tomato mixture, guacamole, roasted peppers, sliced cucumber, cilantro and smoked salmon. Top with chervil leaves and serve with crackers, baguette bread and endives.
