1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls (8 Count) or 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Dough Sheet
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg, beaten

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • If using crescent rolls: Unroll dough; separate dough into 2 long rectangles. Place in ungreased 13x9-inch pan; press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust. Firmly press perforations to seal. If using dough sheet: Unroll dough; cut into 2 long rectangles. Place in ungreased 13x9-inch pan; press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust.
  • Bake 8 minutes. Meanwhile, in medium bowl, mix filling ingredients. Pour filling over partially baked crust.
  • Bake 18 to 22 minutes longer or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 1 hour. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 4 rows. Store at room temperature.

1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon milk

Steps:

  • Unroll crescent dough into a rectangle; press onto the bottom and 1/2 in. up the sides of a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Seal seams and perforations. Bake at 375° for 5 minutes., Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Pour over the crust. Bake for 16-20 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Cool completely before cutting.

3 cups all-purpose flour
½ cup white sugar
1 cup butter
½ teaspoon salt
4 eggs
1 ½ cups light corn syrup
1 ½ cups white sugar
3 tablespoons margarine, melted
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
2 ½ cups chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease the sides and bottom of one 15x10 inch pan.
  • In a large bowl combine the flour, 1/2 cup sugar, margarine or butter and salt until the mixture resemble coarse crumbs. Press firmly into the prepared pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 minutes.
  • In a large bowl stir the eggs, corn syrup 1 1/2 cups white sugar, melted margarine and vanilla until blended. Stir in the chopped pecans.
  • Spread the filling evenly over the hot crust. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 minutes or until set. Let cool before slicing.

Super fast receipe from the Pillsbury Bake-off that I modified. I made 4 pans and exactly 1 hour after I started I was pulling them out of the oven. My co-workers loved them.

1 can pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner roll
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 beaten egg

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Unroll crescent rolls into bottom of 9x13, 9x11, or 9x12 inch ungreased baking pan.
  • Spread the dough over the bottom of the pan, and up the sides 1/2 inch.
  • Use a drop or two of water to help seal the perforations in the dough.
  • Bake in 350 oven for 8-9 minutes.
  • It won't be cooked through.
  • Meanwhile, mix together all other ingredients.
  • Pour/spread pecan mixture over partially baked dough.
  • Bake for another 20-22 minutes.
  • Let cool for at least 1 hour, then cut into bars.

1/4 cup maple syrup
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons margarine (melted)
1 1/4 cups chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Grease the bottom and sides of a 13x9 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix the crust ingredients until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press evenly in the baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, mix the eggs, corn syrup, maple syrup, sugar, salt, and melted butter until well blended. Stir in the pecans.
  • Pour the pecan mixture over the hot baked crust and spread evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, until set.
  • Cool slightly, then cut and remove from pan (they are easier to remove while they are warm).
