QUICK CRANBERRY CHIP COOKIES

- Preheat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, cream butter, shortening and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the chips, cranberries and pecans. , Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on pans 2 minutes before removing to wire racks.

QUICK CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine the butter, sugar and brown sugar in a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Mix until well combined and creamy. Add the vanilla and egg. Gradually add the baking mix and mix until combined. Add the chocolate chips and pecans; mix until just combined.
- Drop heaping tablespoons of the dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets.
- Bake until the cookies are lightly browned, about 15 minutes, rotating the baking sheets halfway through.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
WINNING CRANBERRY CHIP COOKIES

There must have been some magic baking up in the Betty Crocker Kitchens when this recipe was developed, because this deceptively simple cookie is about to steal the show (and your heart). The combination of sweet, tart, and the crunch from pecans...yummy. When I first saw these I thought, what a good fall recipe. Now I realize any day is a good day for these! I always double these. They usually go very fast but if not I refrigerate the dough for later use (up to 1 week)

- In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar, honey, butter and peanut butter until smooth. Stir in the banana and vanilla.
