POMEGRANATE PICKLED PEPPER MARGARITAS
This recipe for pomegranate pickled pepper margaritas with jalepenos, gold tequila, and triple sec provides a twist on a traditional margarita with a kick.

Steps:
- Rub the rim of a rocks glass with the lemon wedge and rim with fine ground salt.
- Add the triple sec and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker. Add the jalapeno slices and muddle until the peppers are well crushed.
- Add the tequila and stir well. Add the pomegranate juice and ice. Cover and shake for 15 to 20 seconds.
- Fill the rimmed glass with ice. Strain the margarita into the glass. Garnish with pomegranate arils, then serve.

My mother found this recipe in Woman's Day and thought it looked fun. And it is supposed to be excellent for hot flashes!! Timing does not include the cooling of sugar syrup.

Steps:
- Pour sugar and water into saucepan; set saucepan over medium heat; stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Let cool.
- In a blender, mix the sugar syrup, juices, tequila, liquor, and ice cubes and puree until slushy.
- Pour into salt rimmed glasses and enjoy!

POMEGRANATE MARGARITAS
Steps:
- Pour lime juice, tequila, Triple Sec, pomegranate juice and Habanero Simple Syrup into a small pitcher filled with ice and stir well. Pour into ice filled glasses and garnish with lime wedges.;
- Place sugar and water in a small saucepan and stir to combine. Poke holes in the habanero and add to the saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer until sugar is completely dissolved and syrup is slightly thickened, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Refrigerate until ready to use.

- Mix 2 oz. of tequila with a splash of Cointreau, lime juice and pomegranate liqueur. Top off with 2 oz. of sour mix. Squeeze in some fresh lime juice and shake over ice. Serve over ice in a salt-rimmed glass. Garnish with a fresh lime wedge.
FROZEN POMEGRANATE MARGARITAS
Steps:
- Combine tequila, orange liqueur, pomegranate juice, lime juice, and ice, all to taste, in a blender and blend until smooth. Line rims of glasses with salt, if desired. Divide margaritas among glasses, and serve. To serve margaritas straight up, combine all ingredients, except salt, in a shaker. Strain into glasses and serve.
