PLANTER'S PUNCH

Steps:

• Combine 3 ounces gold rum, 1 ounce lime juice, 3/4 ounce demerara syrup, 1/4 ounce grenadine and 2 dashes of angostura bitters in a shaker with ice; shake well. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice. Garnish with a mint sprig and pineapple slice.

• Pack a 14-ounce collins glass two-thirds full with crushed ice. Add the fruit juices and light rum and stir until glass is frosted. Add the dark rum. Garnish the drink with orange and lemon slices, pineapple stick, cherry and mint sprig.

Steps:

• Mix first 3 ingredients in shaker or blender.
• Add sugar and grenadine.
• Shake or blend until frothy.
• Serve over shaved ice in a highball glass.
• If desired, garnish with a slice of orange, a cherry, and a sprig of mint.
