SLOW COOKER PHILLY STEAK SANDWICH MEAT
This makes a fantastic meat for Philly steak sandwiches. You can even use lower grade roasts and have this turn out. It also makes its own au jus if you like to dip as I do. To serve, sautee a sliced onion and sliced green pepper in a skillet. Put meat on a sub bun and top with onion and green pepper and Swiss or provolone cheese on top of that. Leave open-faced and broil until the cheese just starts to brown. The top of the bun will brown fast so don't broil that until the cheese has completely melted and just starts to show color.

Steps:
- Spread onion and garlic into the bottom of a slow cooker; layer beef over onion and garlic. Sprinkle cumin, black pepper, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, marjoram, and basil over beef; top with bourbon, soy sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Pour beer over beef mixture and add beef bouillon cubes.
- Cook on Low, stirring every hour or so, for 8 hours (or High for 4 hours).

CROCK POT PIZZA SLIDERS
These Crock Pot Pizza Sliders are a crowd favorite! Better yet, they are super easy to throw together and cook quickly. Win win!

Steps:
- Place all the rolls on a large cutting board and take a large knife to slice all your rolls in half at the same time (do not break them apart) and gently remove the tops as one big piece.
- Spread your pizza sauce evenly on the bottom halves of the rolls that are still all connected.
- Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of your garlic powder and 1/4 teaspoon of Italian seasoning evenly across the top of the sauce.
- Sprinkle your Mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce and seasonings.
- Evenly spread desired pizza toppings on top of cheese.
- As one piece, place the top halves of your rolls back on top of the bottom part of the sliders.
- Pick up the cutting board and gently slide the sliders as one large loaf off the cutting board and into a casserole crock pot.
- In a small bowl or coffee cup, mix together remaining ingredients.
- Brush the tops of the sliders with the butter mixture liberally with a basting brush.
- Cover and cook on high for 1.5 to 2 hours, turning your insert halfway through if your slow cooker doesn't cook evenly.
- If desired, and your insert is broiler safe, place your rolls on the lower rack in your oven with your broiler on high for 30-60 seconds to crisp up the tops. (Watch continually and do not walk away. You can go from perfection to burnt very quickly in a broiler.)
- Cut the sliders apart and serve

- 2. stir other ingredients together (except cheese and buns) and pour over meat.
- 3. cook on high 5-6 hours or 7-8 hours on low.
- 4. shred meat with a fork. serve on buns topped with cheese slices.

This was a favorite of my children when they were growing up- I started out using a basic Swiss Steak recipe, but due to their tastes, it morphed into "Pizza Steak". Now my Grandchildren love it, too!

- Combine flour, salt, & pepper. Pound into steaks.
- In large skillet, brown onions in oil over medium heat.
- Remove & set aside to drain. Add steaks to skillet, & brown well on both sides.
- Return onion to skillet, piling them on top of steaks.Pour pizza sauce over all. Cover skillet, reduce heat to medium low, and simmer 10-12 minutes, until steaks are cooked through.
- Uncover and top evenly with parmesan and mozzarella. Cover, and cook 3-5 minutes until cheeses are melted.

I was looking for a roast in the freezer and didn't have any so I threw this together and decided that it would make wonderful steak sandwiches...so tender!

- Spray crock pot with cooking spray. Season steaks with garlic powder, pepper and Essence. Lay steaks (I put mine in frozen)in crock pot and pour beef broth around steaks. Cover and cook for 8+ hours.
- Serve on toasted bread with garlic butter (1/3 cup butter mixed with 1 tsp or garlic powder to your taste). Cut sandwich in half and serve.
- Note: My round steaks were purchased pre-tenderized.

- In the bowl of a crockpot, toss together the onions, brown sugar and worchestire sauce. Add the butter and steak. Sprinkle the steak with garlic powder and then generously sprinkle with salt and pepper. Nest add the mushrooms and bell peppers and then pour in 2 1/2 cups of beef broth + the soy sauce. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hour or on high for 5-6 hours, stirring once or twice throughout cooking if possible. If the liquid get too low (if the steak is not mostly submerged in beef broth), add the remaining 1/2 cup of beef broth.
- Once the steak is finished cooking, stir in the cilantro. Taste and adjust salt + pepper to your liking.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Spread a little mayo on each hoagie (if using) and then stuff equal amounts of the steak mixture into each hoagie roll and then generously top with provolone cheese. Wrap each hoagie in foil and place in the oven for 5-10 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Serve warm with jalapeños + french fries if desired.
