- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat until sauce starts to boil.
- Lower heat and simmer, covered,for 30 to 45 minutes or until it is as thick as you like it.
- Makes enough for 2 pizzas.

- Sicilian Lasagna Pizza. If you couldn’t decide between lasagna or pizza for dinner, this was the product for you. Pizza Hut unleashed this hybrid to the world back in 2006, but it didn’t last long.
- Panormous Pizza. The name had a pretty good ring to it. It seems to still be available in certain markets, especially overseas. But in America, it’s a little tougher to find.
- The Big Italy. Speaking of giant pizzas, let’s talk about The Big Italy. According to the commercial, it was nearly two feet of pizza. Just think about that.
- Chocolate Dunkers. Pizza Hut doesn’t just have pizza. Sometimes, they also offer fun desserts. These chocolate dunkers were obviously inspired by breadsticks.
- Quepapas. What’s a quepapa? That’s a good question. They’re almost like a jalapeno tater tot, with a little bit of cheese inside. Some locations still have them, but they’re mostly off the menu.
- Taco Pizza. Back in 1979, Pizza Hut had a taco pizza that actually still looks really good. It was a pizza-looking, taco-tasting pizza, and it seems like they really tried hard to emulate both popular foods.
- The Bag Bag. This isn’t a food item, but it’s still one of the weirdest pieces of merchandise that Pizza Hut ever offered. It’s called the “Bag Bag,” and it’s just a duffel bag that you could get for a dollar with your order.
- Tuscani Bacon Mac N Cheese. Remember when Pizza Hut introduced their line of pasta? Their Chicken Alfredo and Meaty Marinara pasta are both still around, but their Tuscani Bacon Mac N Cheese — which was reportedly introduced in September of 2008 — didn’t live quite as long.
- The Priazzo. Sure, the Priazzo may go down as one of Pizza Hut’s biggest fails. But honestly? It sounds delicious. The Daily Meal reports that the Priazzo entered the scene back in 1985, and it was supposed to resemble a deep dish pizza — which is something Pizza Hut doesn’t usually offer.
- The Twisted Crust Pizza. Pizza Hut often brings back nostalgic crusts, so perhaps we haven’t seen the last of the Twisted Crust Pizza. This pizza came with two dipping sauces and was a pretty good way of combining both pizza and breadsticks.
