Pink Grapefruit Vodka Infusion Food

V&B VODKA WATER

Steps:

• Simple Syrup:.
• Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan.
• Pour in sugar. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
• Remove saucepan from heat and allow contents to cool.
• Refrigerate in a sealed container until ready for use.
• Vodka Water:.
• Place ice cubes in an empty pitcher.
• squeeze juice of the orange, lime and lemon over the ice. (I use my juicer - this gives you more citrus juice) cut peel into quarters and throw in the citrus -- It just gets better.
• Add Ruby Red Grapefruit Vodka (1/3 of the bottle is how I do it).
• Fill with Water, add 1/2 cup to 1 cup simple syrup (depending on sweet desire) and stir.
• Pour into highball glasses with or without ice.

INFUSED GRAPEFRUIT VODKA

Steps:

• Add cut up fruit and simple sugar to infusion jar with Vodka. Let it infuse for several days. No longer than two weeks or it will turn bitter.
• To make Simple Syrup:Melt 1 cup Sugar with 1/2 Cup of Water.

PINK GRAPEFRUIT VODKA INFUSION

Steps:

• Use a large glass container (at least 1.5 liters) with an airtight lid.
• Use good quality vodka and keep your original bottle as you'll need it to strain the infused mixture into.
• Place the grapefruit slices in the glass container, add vodka and cap tightly.
• Let stand at room temperature for one week, shaking gently every couple of days.
• Taste for the preferred flavour intensity, allownig it to infuse for up to one more week if needed. If you want - you can do up to two more weeks but it will start to get bitter.
• Strain the infused vodka into the original bottle. Cap tightly, label and refrigerate until ready to serve.

PINK GRAPEFRUIT COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Shake the grapefruit and lemon juice, orange liqueur, vodka and 1 tablespoon crushed ice in a cocktail shaker. Add a touch more fruit juice or vodka to taste. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with grapefruit. Enjoy!
