Pepperoni Sausage Pizza Puffs Food
PEPPERONI & SAUSAGE PIZZA PUFFS
I'm always looking for a new, EASY appetizer to take to different parties. This one is very simple and yummy! I haven't tried doing it yet, but I think you could use Bisquick instead of the flour and baking powder.

Steps:
- Pre-heat over to 375*. Grease a 24 cup mini-muffin pan (or 2 12 cup mini-muffin pans). In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder and baking powder; whisk in the milk and egg. Stir in the mozzarella, sausage and pepperoni; let stand for 10 minutes.
- Stir the batter and divide among the mini-muffin cups. Bake until puffed and golden; about 20-25 minutes.
- Meanwhile, microwave the pizza sauce until warmed. Serve the puffs with the pizza sauce for dipping.

- Puree the fire roasted tomatoes and tomato paste in food processor or blender until smooth. Place the tomatoes in a saucepan, add the rosemary and thyme, and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. This will give the herbs time to infuse the tomato sauce with their flavor.
- Turn the heat off and add the chopped pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, and parsley. Stir it all together and taste for seasoning. Add salt and pepper as needed.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut rectangles from the dough with a knife or pizza cutter, and place a spoonful of the pepperoni pizza sauce on one side of the puff pastry.
