Number Of Ingredients 7

½ cup (120 ml) water
1 cup green grapes
1 orange, peeled, halved
½ ripe Bartlett pear, seeded, halved
1 small to medium size banana, peeled
1 cup (70 g) kale
2 cups (480 ml) ice cubes

Steps:

  • 1.Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
  • 2.Select Variable 1.
  • 3.Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
  • 4.Blend for 45 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.

1 medium pear, peeled, cored and diced (see Chef Tips) ½ cup frozen grapes (see Chef Tips) ⅛-inch slice of fresh ginger 1 cup chopped kale (any variety) 3 ice cubes ½ to ¾ cup apple cider, as needed 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend well. Taste and add more apple cider if desired. Drink immediately.

1 medium pear, chopped
1 cup frozen sweetened mixed berries
1 medium banana, halved
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup low-fat vanilla almond milk yogurt
3 tablespoons agave nectar

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix kale and fruits. Pour in almond milk, yogurt and agave nectar; stir to combine. Process in batches in a blender until smooth. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
