HOMEMADE PEANUT BUTTER PUPPY POPPERS/DOG TREATS
I found this recipe. I made them for the pups, and they loved them. They are healthy for the pets. I have not bought any bone cookie cutters yet. I used a medium size and small size star cutter. If you don't have any cookie cutters, you can use a glass to cut dough.

Steps:
- combine milk and peanut butter. mix until well blended.
- combine dry ingredients.
- combine wet and dry ingredients and form a dough ball. Roll out to desired thickness and cut into whatever shapes you want. We have small dogs so I use an old coffee scoop.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees. They do not rise. They will be soft at this point. I leave ours in the oven to cool and that makes them crunchy which the dogs seem to prefer.

PET TREAT: PEANUT BUTTER BARK POPS
It's tough to be a dog with sensitive teeth: Many treats are made with chewing and chomping in mind, so they're crunchy and hard. Knowing that older dogs often need something gentler, Jackie Starker of Amelie's Bark Shop in Philadelphia developed a line of soft-baked treats that can last for weeks. The most popular are these Peanut Butter Bark Pops, inspired by cake pops. Jackie sells them alongside pup-friendly cookies and doggy fashion, including a line of matching human face mask/dog bandana sets sewn by her mom. -Nora Horvath for Food Network Magazine

Steps:
- Reserve 1 tablespoon of the peanut butter for topping. Beat the remaining peanut butter in a large bowl with a mixer until smooth. Add 1/2 cup honey, the flaxseed and oats; mix until well incorporated.
- Scoop tablespoonfuls of the peanut butter-oat mixture using a small cookie scoop and roll into balls. Soak the balls in a bowl of water for a couple of minutes, then roll in crushed peanuts, shredded coconut or another topping of your choice.
- Mix the remaining 1 tablespoon each peanut butter and honey in a small bowl. Use it to glue your dog's favorite treat on top. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
PEANUT BUTTER PUPPY COOKIES
As of late, I have really wanted to make treats from all my animals, it just seems like a better alternative, sometimes. I found this online, and have adjusted some of the ingredients to better suit my mastiff, Dexter. He shares this with his best friend, RIngo (the Boston terrier) and Pooch Pup, his neighbor doggie friend. Crunchy and they smell great too! Hope you and your pup enjoy a couple a day too.
