PEACHY GREEN TEA COOLER

6 green tea teabags
6 cups cold water
3 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced or canned peaches
Honey
1 lemon, juiced
6 sprigs fresh mint

Steps:

  • Bring 6 cups cold water to a boil.
  • Place teabags in a saucepan. Slice the peaches and place in a saucepan. Pour boiling water over the peaches and teabags. Steep for about 5 minutes.
  • Strain the tea into a heat-safe pitcher and reserve the peaches. Stir in honey and lemon juice to taste.
  • Allow tea to cool, then refrigerate until thoroughly chilled. Reserve peaches in refrigerator.
  • To serve: Fill tall glasses with ice, place a few chilled peach slices in each glass, pour chilled tea over the peaches and top with a sprig of mint.

1 (16 ounce) package frozen peach slices
⅔ cup white sugar
½ cup water
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
½ cup milk
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spread melted butter in a 2-quart baking dish.
  • Heat peaches, 2/3 cup sugar, and water in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasional, until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes; remove from heat.

  • Put the lemon juice and lime juice into a large jug. Add the sliced lemon and lime, and a handful of ice cubes. Add peach nectar to fill about one-third of the jug and top up to fill with lemonade.
  • Add the strawberries and top up with sparkling water and mint sprigs.

1 (16 ounce) can peach slices, undrained and chilled
1 (8 ounce) carton peach yogurt
1/4 teaspoon vanilla or 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup milk

Steps:

  • Using can opener, open can of peaches. Place peaches with liquid in blender container.
  • Add Yogrut to peaches, using a rubber scraper to get yogurt out of carton.
  • Measure and add vanilla (or almond extract) and milk.
  • Place cover on blender, blend at medium speed until the mixture is smooth and bubbly, about 1 minute.
  • Pour into glasses. Serve right away.
