PAULA DEEN'S SPIKED CRANBERRY LEMONADE
My best friend made this recipe for a summer picnic and it went down too smoothly! A great alcoholic punch for any warm weathered gathering. This recipe is courtesy of Paula Deen's magazine, issue May/June 2008.

- In a very large bowl, like a punch bowl, or a very large juice pitcher, mix pineapple and cranberry juices, lemonade concentrate and rum.
- Upon serving, add ginger ale and ice to bowl or serving pitcher.
- Garnish bowl/pitcher with floating fruit or use as garnish for glass, if you wish.

- Strain the lemon juice and combine it with the sugar in a large serving container or wide-mouthed jar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add the water and cranberry juice and stir again. Add a couple of trays of ice to chill the lemonade well. Then add the lemon and lime slices, and the cranberries, if you care to, and serve.

- In a small saucepan, combine sugar and lemon juice.
- Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
- Stire in the water and cranberry juice.
- Cool.
- Pour into a pitcher.
- Refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice.
FIZZY CRANBERRY-LEMONADE PUNCH
You can blend this ahead and keep it chilled, but don't add the cold seltzer and ice cubes until just before serving.

- Then, stir in seltzer, and ice cubes if you like.

- You can blend this ahead and keep it chilled, but don't add the cold seltzer and ice cubes until just before serving.
