Passion Fruit Punch Poncha Maracujá Food
PASSION FRUIT PUNCH (PONCHA MARACUJá)
This punch is made with cachaça, the national spirit of Brazil, made from fermented sugar cane juice. Increased interest in the liquor, and Latin American cuisine, has brought several brands to American bars and liquor stores. Use the one you can find. And drink slowly. It's strong.

Steps:
- Place 1/2 cup juice and the honey in a pitcher. Stir to dissolve honey. Stir in remaining juice.
- Add cachaa and stir. Place ice in 4 highball glasses; pour juice mixture over it. Serve with straws.
HURRICANE PASSION PUNCH
This New Orleans classic warms you up no matter where you are. Don't skip the almond extract - it ties together all the ingredients, and gives the drink its trademark nutty backbone.

Steps:
- Mix the passion fruit juice, pineapple juice, light rum, orange juice, dark rum, grenadine and almond extract together in a 2-gallon container. Chill until ready to serve. Pour the punch into a large punch bowl for serving. Serve in glasses filled with ice. Garnish with an orange wedge and a maraschino cherry.
