Need a fast snack that's easy to make and that tastes good? Try this recipe for Garlic-Parmesan Pretzels. Only 4 ingredients and 6 minutes to snack time!

12- ounce package mini twist pretzels
1/4 cup butter (sliced)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Place pretzels in a large microwave-safe bowl; set aside.
  • Combine butter and garlic powder in a one-cup glass measure. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 30-45 seconds, until butter is melted. Stir to combine.
  • Drizzle butter mixture over pretzels; mix lightly. Sprinkle with cheese, mix again.
  • Place pretzels in the microwave. Microwave on high, uncovered, for 3-4 minutes. Stir 1-2 times during cooking. Cool.
  • Store in an air-tight container.

1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/4 cup avocado oil
16 ounces pretzel mini twists or windowpanes

Steps:

  • Heat your oven to 200F. Line a baking sheet with parchment for easy cleanup.
  • In a large bowl, combine the parmesan and seasonings. Slowly mix in the oil to form a paste. Add the pretzels and mix them well until they're coated them with the spice mixture.
  • Spread the pretzels onto the baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, then let cool.

  • Toss 4 cups mini pretzel twists with 6 tablespoons melted butter, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1 grated garlic clove in a large bowl. Spread on a baking sheet and bake at 350˚ until lightly toasted but not dry, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a separate bowl and toss with 1/4 cup grated parmesan and 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley.

2 large chicken breasts
2 cups finely crushed pretzels
2 eggs
1/3 cup Italian dressing
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons olive oil

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • Add olive oil to skillet. Heat over medium-heat.
  • Slice chicken breasts in half to make 4 thin fillets.
  • Crush pretzels in a bag. NOTE: Pretzels must be finely crushed to avoid burning.
  • Add parmesan cheese to crushed pretzels. Shake bag to mix.
  • Whisk 2 eggs in a shallow bowl.
  • Add Italian dressing and lemon juice to eggs.
  • Coat chicken in egg mixture then put in bag and shake to coat.
  • Add chicken to skillet and cook 3 minutes each side or until coating is browned.
  • Place chicken in a foil lined baking dish and place in oven for 20-30 minutes.

This makes wonderful little gifts. I make a huge batch up and put in sandwich bags and freeze. 1 Bag makes one of the recipes below. It is also nice sprinkled on veggies, homemade potato chips or at 1 package to a container of sour cream for a great dip.

3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese or 3 tablespoons romano cheese
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Place ingredients in small bowl and blend with whisk.
  • Place mix into 1 small thin sandwich bag.
  • Tie mix into corner of bag with ribbon.
  • Copy and attach the instructions below:
  • Makes 1/2 cup.
  • Parmesan Herb Crescent Rolls:
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough, unbaked
  • 1 packet seasoning mix
  • Open a can of refrigerated crescent rolls - unroll dough.
  • Sprinkle dough evenly with seasoning from packet before shaping into crescents.
  • Bake as directed on crescent roll package.
  • Parmesan Herb Monkey Bread:
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits, unbaked (8 count)
  • 1 packet seasoning mix
  • 1/2 stick margarine, melted
  • Cut biscuits into quarters and place in large bowl.
  • Add seasoning mix to melted butter and stir well.
  • Pour butter over biscuits and toss to coat very well.
  • Place biscuit pieces in medium loaf pan (4 1/2 x 8 1/4")
  • Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
  • Parmesan Herb Salad Dressing:
  • Place 1/2 cup good quality olive oil into a jar.
  • Add 1/4 cup cider vinegar.
  • Add seasonings mix from packet.
  • Place lid on jar and shake until blended.
  • Serve over green salad.
  • Makes 3/4 cup salad dressing.

I am a teacher and several years ago I got a package of these as a holiday gift from a student. These are super easy to make and any time I take them somewhere everyone BEGS for the recipe! I make a giant batch at the holidays and put them in cute bags or boxes as gifts. I keep the supplies on hand so I can whip them up to take whenever I need to bring an appetizer to a party! Guaranteed to become a favorite!

1 (1 lb) bag small pretzels
1 (1 ounce) package hidden valley ranch dressing mix
1 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
  • In small bowl, mix together oil, dressing mix, garlic power and cayenne pepper. Use a wire whisk or fork to mix throughly.
  • Dump pretzels out on a large baking sheet that has a raised edge. Spread pretzels into a single layer.
  • Drizzle oil mix over pretzels. Toss the pretzels with hands to be sure all are coated.
  • Bake in 200 degree oven for 90 minutes. Stir with spatula every 30 minutes.
