Great on their own charred and sea-salted, sweet padron peppers skewered with spicy chorizo create a simple but delicious party appetizer.

Ingredients

24 Padron peppers
24 1-inch-thick pieces hot dried chorizo
Sea salt

Steps:

Soak 12 wooden skewers for 30 minutes. Heat grill to medium-high. Thread 2 peppers and two pieces chorizo onto each skewer. Grill, turning often, until blistered, about 3 minutes. Sprinkle with sea salt.

1 tbsp olive oil
500g padron peppers

Steps:

Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over a high heat. Fry the peppers, stirring frequently, for 5 mins until blistered and wilted. The peppers should be soft and slightly charred.
Transfer the peppers to a serving plate and season with some sea salt. Serve with dips or as part of a tapas spread.
