BAKED POTATO IN OVEN WRAPPED IN FOIL (+ GRILL)
One of our favorites dinner sides is a baked potato in foil. Whether you're hoping to make a grilled baked potato in foil or a baked potato in oven wrapped in foil, we'll teach you how to make a perfect baked potato every time!

Steps:
- First, preheat the grill or oven to 450ºF.
- Run potatoes under warm water and use a scrubby to remove any dirt or residue and then and pat dry with a towel to dry.
- Drizzle potatoes with olive oil and use your hands to massage the oil into the skin. Then, generously season the entire potato with salt and pepper.
- Individually wrap each potato in a piece of tin foil.
- Place potatoes directly on the grill grates over direct heat. Cover, and let cook for 45-60 minutes. Rotating every 10 minutes.
- Place potatoes directly on your oven racks and let cook for 45-60 minutes rotating after 30 minutes.
- After 45 minutes, pierce one of the potatoes with a fork to see how tender they are. Once they are easily poked you know they are done!
- Remove from heat, let sit for 15 minutes to cool, and then unwrap from foil to eat.
- Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

ROASTED POTATOES IN FOIL
This truly is the easiest side dish in the world. And you just can't believe the taste. The onion melts into the potatoes and the flavors are simple yet so satisfying. Perfect next to a steak, burger, or fish.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Place the foil pieces on a work surface.
- Add about ½ tbsp of oil down the middle (lengthwise) of each piece of foil. Add ¼ cup of onions over the oil on each piece of foil. Add half of each cubed potato over the onions. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Repeat this process, adding a little more (approx. 1 tsp) of oil over the top.
- Bring the edges from the long side of each foil piece together and pinch to form a seal. Fold in the ends and place on a baking sheet.
- Roast in the oven for 20 minutes. Test a piece of cooked potato to ensure they are very soft and tender. If not fully cooked, add back into the oven for 5 to 10 more minutes.
- Serve in the foil packet, or carefully transfer onto individual plates or serving platter.

- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Lay out 4 squares of aluminum foil on the counter. Cut each potato in half lengthwise, and place onto a square of aluminum foil. Place 1/2 tablespoon of butter onto the cut side of each half, then season with garlic powder and salt. Close the potato halves together, and wrap tightly in the aluminum foil.
- Bake potatoes directly on the oven rack for 40 minutes, or until tender.

TERRIFIC TIN-FOIL POTATOES
A nice twist to potatoes/veggies on the grill! You can make them in the oven, too, if you're not grillin'!

Steps:
- Pull off two large sheets of heavy duty foil.
- Attach them together along wide edge, by making a"seam" in the middle (put edges together and fold over at least twice), so that you have one large sheet.
- Slice potatoes approximately 1/4" thick.
- (Peel, or not- up to you).
- Place in center of tin-foil.
- Slice onions and red pepper and pile on top of potatoes.
- Sprinkle the minced garlic, soup mix, thyme, and salt and pepper over the piled veggies.
- Dot with cubes of butter.
- Wrap tightly in the tin-foil, and cook on the grill about 30-45 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
- (You may want to place foil packet on top of one more sheet of foil just to make sure it doesn't burn- depends on how hot the grill is!).
- You can also bake in the oven at 375 for 45 minutes.
- (Place on a jelly roll pan or cookie sheet for support).
