Oreo Trifle image

This recipe is one of my favorites and it is the easiest thing I have ever made. It is the dessert to make for chocolate cravings.

Number Of Ingredients 4

3 1/2 ounces chocolate instant pudding
milk
1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip
0.5 (18 ounce) package Oreo cookies (crushed)

Steps:

  • Prepare the instant pudding as directed on package.
  • In a bowl combine pudding, cool whip and half of the crushed Oreos and mix very well until mixture is evenly colored.
  • Place mixture in 9x9x2 pan.
  • Top evenly with the rest of the crushed oreos.
  • Refrigerate for a couple of hours and enjoy!

  • In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, eggs, oil, and water. Pour into greased pan and bake until done, about 40 minutes. Cool. Cut into 1-inch squares.
  • In a large bowl, combine the pudding mix, vanilla, water, and sweetened condensed milk. Mix until smooth, then fold in 8 ounces of whipped topping. Fold until no streaks remain.
  • In a trifle bowl or glass serving dish, place half of the brownies, half of the pudding mixture and 4 ounces of remaining whipped topping. Repeat layers. Garnish with crumbled Oreo cookies.

  • Place two flower nails in the center of the pan, with the flat side resting flat against the cake pan. Make sure they are a few inches apart and spray thoroughly with non-stick spray too.
  • In a large bowl, add 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa, 3/4 tsp baking powder, 1 1/2 tsp baking soda and 1/2 tsp salt.
  • In a separate bowl, stir together 3/4 cup hot water and 1 1/2 tsp instant coffee or espresso powder.
