Delicious, creamy Cannoli Dip is the perfect sweet treat for your next get together. Made with just 5 ingredients, this delicious dip is better than classic Cannolis and SO much easier! The perfect no bake dessert!

15 ounces ricotta cheese (drained)
8 ounces mascarpone cheese (cream cheese can be substituted)
1 ¼ cup powdered sugar (sifted)
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
¾ cup mini semi sweet chocolate chips
pizzelle cookies, graham crackers, chocolate chip cookies, broken waffle cones, strawberries, broken cannoli shells, etc.

Steps:

  • Combine ricotta cheese and mascarpone cheese together in a medium mixing bowl and using a hand mixer, mix on medium high speed for several minutes or until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and beat until combined and smooth. (Start on low speed to avoid a powdered sugar shower...)
  • Fold in all but two tablespoons of the mini chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. The dip is best after 1 hour but can be served in as little as 15 minutes if need be.
  • Just before serving, sprinkle on reserved chocolate chips and dust with powdered sugar if desired. Serve with desired dippers and enjoy!

15 ounces Ricotta cheese (drained if needed)
8 ounces Mascarpone cheese
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon fresh orange zest
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup mini chocolate chips
mini chocolate chips and/or chopped nuts
apple slices, graham crackers, cannoli chips, vanilla wafers, broken ice cream cones or cannoli shells, etc.

Steps:

  • Place ricotta, mascarpone, and powdered sugar in large mixing bowl. Mix with an electric mixer or stand mixer until smooth and well combined.
  • Mix in vanilla, orange zest, cinnamon, and salt until well combined. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
  • Top with mini chocolate chips and/or chopped nuts and serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

This dip takes the tastes and flavors of a cannoli and turns it into a wonderful party snack! To serve, break up pizzelle cookies or waffle cones into chip-size pieces to scoop cannoli dip and enjoy! The dip tastes just like the filling from a cannoli, and the pizzelles act as the shell.

2 cups ricotta cheese
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 ½ cups confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Beat ricotta cheese and cream cheese together in a bowl until smooth; add sugar and vanilla. Continue to stir mixture until sugar is completely incorporated. Fold chocolate chips through the cheese mixture.
  • Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled, at least 10 minutes.

8 store-bought cannoli shells
1 (12-ounce) bag semisweet chocolate chips
1 quart good-quality ricotta cheese
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon fresh orange zest
1/4 cup chopped citron (candied orange peel)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Steps:

  • For the chocolate:
  • Melt chocolate over a double boiler and dip half of each cannoli shell in the chocolate. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off then lay shells out on a silpat or waxed paper-lined tray to set while you prepare the filling.
  • For the filling:
  • Line a colander with cheesecloth, add the ricotta and let drain until very dry. Squeeze out any excess moisture in cheesecloth. Place the ricotta into the bowl of a stand mixer and beat on high for 5 to 7 minutes until light and fluffy. Add sugar, orange zest, chopped citron and vanilla extract, then mix on medium until just combined. Place the filling into a piping bag and fill chocolate dipped cannoli with the mixture. Serve as soon as possible.
