YEAST BEER BREAD
Steps:
- Gather the ingredients.
- In a small bowl, mix water and yeast. Stir until yeast is dissolved.
- In a large bowl, add beer, cream cheese, sugar, and salt. Pour in yeast and stir.
- Mix in 2 1/2 cups flour. Turn out onto a floured board and knead in remaining 1/2 cup of flour until dough is soft and smooth.
- Put dough in greased bowl and turn dough so that top is greased . Cover and let rise in warm place for about 60 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- Punch down dough with your fist. Turn dough out onto floured board and knead for about 1 minute.
- Preheat oven 375 F. Form dough into 1 loaf. Put into buttered bread pan. Cover and let rise until double in size, about 30 minutes.
- Score dough by cutting 3 slashes across top with a sharp knife.
- Put in oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Turn out bread and let cool on a rack or dish towel.

BEER BREAD
Beer bread goes down as one of my all-time favorite comfort foods. This basic beer bread recipe is just about the easiest you'll ever make!

Steps:
- Grease a 9 x 5 loaf pan with shortening. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Stir flour and sugar together. Pour in beer and stir until foaming subsides and flour is incorporated. Spoon into prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean or an instant-read thermometer reads about 190ºF.
- Immediately remove from pan and set on a wire rack on top of a rimmed baking sheet. Pour melted butter over the top and brush sides.
- Let bread cool for 15 minutes or so, then serve warm. Once the bread is completely cooled, it can be sliced to use for sandwiches, toasted, or served plain.

- In a large bowl, mix together the sugar and flour. Add beer and continue to mix, first using a wooden spoon, then your hands. Batter will be sticky. Pour into a 9 x 5 inch greased loaf pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees ) for 50 for 60 minutes. The top will be crunchy, and the insides will be soft. Serve topped with butter or cheese spread.

- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Beat in the molasses, butter, rye flour, cocoa, caraway seeds, salt and 2 cups all-purpose flour until smooth. Stir in enough remaining all-purpose flour to form a stiff dough., Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1-1/2 hours. , Punch dough down. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; divide in half. Shape each piece into a loaf about 10 in. long. Grease 2 baking sheets and sprinkle with cornmeal. Place loaves on prepared pans. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour. , Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until bread sounds hollow when tapped. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool.
