Old School Spaghetti With Meat Sauce Food

OLD SCHOOL SPAGHETTI WITH MEAT SAUCE

Steps:

• Brown beef in vegetable oil until brownAdd onions and garlic and cook an additional 5 minutesAdd tomato products and simmer for 15-20 minutesAdd parsley and oregano and simmer for 10 minutesENJOY OVER A PLATE OF HOT SPAGHETTI

OLD-WORLD SPAGHETTI MEAT SAUCE

Steps:

• Brown the meat in a large saucepan. Drain the fat from the meat. Add the chopped onion, green pepper, and garlic to the pot and cook until tender. Pour in the mushrooms, tomatoes, sauce, and seasoning and stir everything together. Simmer for at least 30 minutes. Serve 1/2 c sauce over 1 c spaghetti.

SCHOOL SPAGHETTI SAUCE

Steps:

• Heat a very large pot over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 10 to 15 minutes. Drain and discard grease.
• Stir onions and garlic powder into the pot and cook for 5 minutes. Add water, both cans of tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, marjoram, thyme, and pepper. Let simmer for about 1 hour.

SPAGHETTI (WITH MEAT) SAUCE

Steps:

• In a large dutch oven, brown ground beef with onion until beef is almost cooked through. Add garlic and cook until beef is done.
• Add the rest of the ingredients, adjusting seasonings for personal taste, and stir until combined.
• Bring to a boil; reduce to a low simmer. Put the cover on the pan to allow steam to escape.
• Simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
• Serve over hot spaghetti noodles.
• NOTE: This freezes incredibly well!
