Skip the coffee and add a shot of Hackamore Energy drink to your non alcoholic Bloody Mary for brunch. Hackamore is a decent substitute for vodka in mocktails, due to its mild flavor, while offering some useful ingredients like natural caffeine, amino acids, and b-vitamins.

2 oz Hackamore Premium Energy
6 oz Organic tomato juice
4 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
4 dashes of Tabasco sauce
1 tsp horseradish
lime juice from 1/2 lime
lemon juice from 1/2 lime
pinch of garlic powder
pinch of celery salt + more for rim
salt + pepper to taste
celery stalk + lime wedge + olive ((for garnish))

Steps:

  • Create a bed of celery salt on a plate or shallow bowl.
  • Rub the edge of your glass with a lemon slice and dip it in the bed of celery salt.
  • Fill the glass with ice, then add all the ingredients to the glass and stir.
  • Garnish with a celery stalk, lime wedge, and olive.

2 lbs fresh, ripe tomatoes
1 shallot
1 fresh hot chile
1/2 cucumber, seeded
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/2 tsp Real Salt
1/2 tsp celery salt
1/8 tsp season salt
1/8 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp gluten-free worcestershire sauce
1 tsp gluten-free soy sauce
1 tsp horseradish
1/2 garlic clove (optional)
1/2 lemon, cut into wedges
dash of hot sauce

Steps:

  • Start by blending fresh tomatoes (or just add the tomato juice here if using canned), cucumbers, shallot and chili that have been roughly chopped
  • Puree until smooth, about 1-2 minutes
  • Strain the puree through a sieve then add a dash of hot sauce, celery salt, horseradish, gluten-free soy sauce and Worcestershire
  • Finish adding the thyme, onion powder, black pepper and season salt to the tomato puree
  • On a plate, combine 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/8 tsp. chili powder
  • Refrigerate the tomato mixture for 1-2 hours or until nice and cold
  • Rim the cups you are using with fresh lemon juice then dip into chili salt
  • Add ice cubes and pour tomato mixture over top
  • Garnish each cup with your favorite garnishes. I highly recommend celery, bacon, green olive, fresh cucumber and a pickle.
