2 pkg. (3.9 oz.) JELL-O Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding Pudding
2 cups cold milk
1 chocolate cookie crumb crust (6 oz.)
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

Steps:

  • Beat pudding mixes and milk in large bowl with whisk 2 min. (Pudding will be thick.)
  • Spread 1-1/2 cups pudding onto bottom of crust. Stir half the COOL WHIP into remaining pudding; spread over layer in crust. Top with remaining COOL WHIP.
  • Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.

Chocolate Cream Pie is an easy no bake pie with three layers of creamy chocolate pudding & freshly whipped cream inside a chocolate cookie crust. Only 4 ingredients needed! Don't forget to garnish with chocolate curls and chocolate bar pieces!

1 (6 oz) store-bought chocolate crumb crust ((like Oreo crust or chocolate graham cracker crust))
2 boxes (3.4 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
2 cups half & half
1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip (thawed)
1½ cups heavy whipping cream
1/3 cup powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Combine dry pudding mixes and half & half in a mixing bowl. Stir with a wire whisk until combined well. Let it sit for about 3-5 minutes so it can thicken up.
  • Spread 1 1/2 cups of the chocolate pudding into the bottom of the chocolate cookie crust.
  • To the remaining chocolate pudding add half of the tub of Cool Whip. Stir until combined and lighter in color. Spread on top of the chocolate pudding layer in the crust.
  • Spread the remaining Cool Whip on top of the pie and cover with the enclosed lid.
  • Let refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or for best results refrigerate overnight, to allow the flavor to come together and the pie to thicken up.
  • When ready to serve, garnish the top of the pie with chocolate curls (Hershey bar + a vegetable peeler) or garnish with Hershey chocolate bar squares.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days.

This is out of Easy Weeknight Favorites from Southern Living. While good, this could be easily changed to suit individual preferences, which I've listed at the end of the directions.

15 ounces chocolate chip cookies
1 cup milk
9 ounces graham cracker pie crust (extra serving size)
8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

  • Dip 8 cookies in milk, and place in a single layer in the graham cracker crust. Top with 1/3 of the whipped topping.
  • Dip 8 more cookies in milk and place over whipped topping, or enough to fill in empty spaces. Spread with 1/3 of whipped topping.
  • Repeat layers with 8 more cookies dipped in milk, and remaining whipped topping.
  • Coarsely crumble 2 chocolate chip cookies, and sprinkle over pie.
  • Cover and chill 8 hours before serving.
  • Note: I used Nabisco Chunky Chips Ahoy for the cookies. This would be really good using a mixture of instant pudding/milk/whipped topping as the layer between the cookies. A proportion of 1 cup milk, a 4-serving size box of vanilla instant pudding, and 2/3 of the 8 ounce whipped topping should be sufficient; then use the remaining 1/3 whipped topping for the top of the pie.

1/2 cup pecans, toasted and coarsely chopped
1 chocolate crumb pie shell (6-oz)
3/4 cup Kraft caramels (5 oz / 17 pieces)
1/4 cup evaporated milk (not sweetened condensed)
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (9 oz)
1 cup heavy whipping cream
3 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • Sprinkle toasted pecans on pie crust.
  • Heat caramels and evaporated milk in glass bowl in microwave on medium setting until melted.
  • Stir until smooth.
  • Pour over pecans.
  • In another glass bowl, heat chocolate chips, cream and butter in microwave on medium setting until melted.
  • Stir until smooth.
  • Pour over caramel layer.
  • Chill 4 hours.
  • Allow to come to approximately room temperature to serve.
  • Garnish with whipped cream or Cool Whip piped on top around edge of pie or spoon a dollop on each piece.
  • Drizzle raspberry puree or add a few fresh raspberries around pie slice on plate for extra elegant touch.
