1/2 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1-1/2 cups spicy hot V8 juice
1/2 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook the beef, onion and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 18-20 minutes or until macaroni is tender.

1-1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 package (7 ounces) macaroni
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef and onion until the meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally, 20-25 minutes. Add more water if needed.

1 can tomato sauce
1 (8 ounce) can mushroom stems
1/2 teaspoon Italian spices

Steps:

  • Cook macaroni in boiling salted water according to package directions.
  • Drain; set aside.
  • Saute meat, onion and garlic in oil until meat is browned.
  • Add remaining ingredients (except macaroni).
  • Bring mixture to boil; simmer gently for 5 min.
  • Mix in cooked macaroni.
  • Simmer for 5 min.
