1 1/2 pounds beef boneless top sirloin steak, cut into 2x 3/4x 1/4-inch pieces
6 cups Progresso™ beef flavored broth (from two 32-oz cartons)
1/2 cup dry sherry or Progresso™ beef flavored broth (from 32-oz carton)
1/4 cup ketchup
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cups uncooked medium egg noodles
1 container (8 oz) sour cream

Steps:

  • In 5- to 6-quart Dutch oven, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add onion, garlic and mushrooms; cook 5 to 6 minutes, stirring frequently, until mushrooms are softened.
  • Stir in beef. Cook 5 to 6 minutes, stirring frequently, until beef is no longer pink. Stir in remaining ingredients except noodles and sour cream. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in noodles. Cover; cook 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.
  • Stir in sour cream. Cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until well blended.

1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoon soy sauce

2 teaspoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoon olive oil

Steps:

  • Prep Beef: Add the beef, baking soda, cornstarch and 2 tbsp of soy sauce to a bowl. Toss everything together and set aside.
  • Combine Stir Fry Ingredients: Combine all the stir fry sauce ingredients together in a bowl and set aside.
  • Cook: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the beef and spread it out. Don't touch it for 2 minutes, allowing it to sear. Toss it around a bit, then add the garlic, onion, ginger and cook for 1 minute. Stir in the mushrooms and cook for an additional 2 minutes, just until they start to brown a bit. 4 tablespoons butter, (divided)
1 onion, (chopped)
4 cloves garlic, (crushed or minced)

24 ounces (700 grams) lean beef fillet steaks, seasoned with salt and pepper and cubed into 1 1/2-inch pieces
2 teaspoons dijon mustard
1 teaspoon paprika, ((smoky or mild))
1/3 cup dry white wine, ((or more if you like it stronger))
2 cups beef broth (or stock), ((or 2 cups water mixed with 1 tablespoon vegetable stock powder))
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Boil the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to packet instructions until al dente. Remove; strain and set aside.
  • While pasta is boiling, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Sear the steak in single layer batches until browned; transfer to a separate plate and set aside until all batches are done.
  • Melt the remaining butter in the pan; add the onions and sauté until transparent, then add the garlic and fry until just fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add the mushrooms and cook until the mushrooms are tender and cooked through (about 4 minutes). Mix in the mustard and paprika.
  • Add the wine and cook for about 3 minutes while stirring occasionally to mix all of the flavours through, deglazing the pan while scraping any browned bits off the bottom of the pan with your spoon. Allow wine to reduce down to about half the amount (about 3 minutes).

  • Return the beef and any juices from the plate to the pan and season with any extra salt and pepper (if desired). Reduce heat down to low and mix in sour cream. Heat until hot (do not boil).

8 ounces baby bella mushrooms, sliced
½ yellow onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound lean ground beef (90% is good)
1 (5 oz) bag spinach, chopped (or leave spinach leaves as is!)
1 cup milk of choice (we do unsweetened almond milk)
4 cups low sodium beef or chicken broth
10 ounces uncooked wide egg noodles
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup parmesan cheese
Freshly ground salt and pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Cook your mushrooms: place a large pot over medium-high heat and add in 1 tablespoon butter. Once butter melts, add in the mushrooms, onions, garlic and salt and pepper. Stir occasionally until mushrooms and onions are cooked down and mushrooms start to brown slightly about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a bowl.
  • In the same pot add in your ground beef then season with salt and pepper, and break up the meat, cooking until no longer pink, about 5-8 minutes. Add mushroom & onion mixture back to the pot then stir in the spinach. Once spinach wilts down, immediately add in milk and chicken broth.
  • Next, stir in the egg noodles and bring to a slight boil; you'll cook until the pasta is nice and tender, about 10-12 minutes (depending on your pasta shape) and most of the liquid (but not all!) is absorbed. You'll want a little bit of liquid left to make the sauce nice and creamy.
