Mock Oyster Dip Food

HOT CRAB-AND-OYSTER DIP

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Butter a 1 1/2-quart baking dish or 10-inch ovenproof skillet. In a large bowl, combine creme fraiche, cheese, horseradish, scallions, garlic, paprika, flour, and oyster liquor. Gently fold in crabmeat; season lightly with salt. Transfer to prepared dish, making 12 small divots in mixture with the back of a spoon. Press an oyster into each.
• Bake until hot, bubbling, and golden, 20 to 25 minutes. Serve hot, with crudites or crackers.

MOCK OYSTER DIP

Steps:

• 1. Saute onion in butter and then add other ingredients.
• 2. Cook on medium heat for 15 minutes.

70'S MOCK OYSTER DIP

Steps:

• 1. Sauté celery, onion, and mushrooms in butter for five minutes on medium heat.
• 2. Lower heat and add remaining ingredients. Simmer gently, stirring until mixture is smooth.
• 3. Serving Suggestions: Serve as a hot dip with butter crackers. Fill miniature pastry/patty shells with mixture and bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.

MOCK OYSTER DIP

Steps:

• Saute mushrooms and onion (if you did not add onions to broccoli to cook) in butter and add all ingredients except broccoli. Cook until melted down well. Fold in broccoli. Stir well. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Heat and place in chafing/serving dish. Serve with Fritos.

MOCK OYSTER DIP (BROCCOLI DIP)

Steps:

• Saute onions and garlic in butter until tender.
• Add mushrooms, soup and Tabasco sauce, salt & pepper to taste. Mix well.
• Add cooked broccoli and cheese. Mix well.
• Cook for about 5 minutes over low heat.
• Serve in chafing dish with Ritz Crackers.

• Saute onion in butter and then add other ingredients.

• 1. saute onion till clear,add rest of ingrediants and melt the cheese in a pot,serve with crackers.i put mine on top of a candle to keep hot,or use a small crockpot.

Steps:

• Cook broccoli until finely apart, then drain. In medium pot saute onion in butter. Add drained broccoli and mushroom soup. When hot, add Kraft garlic cheese and garlic powder.

Steps:

• Cook broccoli in water till soft (over-done); drain. Sauté onion in butter; add cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms and juice. Break up garlic cheese and add to mixture. Add hot sauce and broccoli. Mix well. Keep warm in chafing dish; eat with dipper potato chips. Can also be served in patty shells or over noodles as a casserole.
