Mint Chocolate Julep Shake Food

THIN MINT MILKSHAKE

Steps:

• Put the ice cream, cookies and 1 cup of the milk in a blender and blend until smooth. Add more milk until the desired consistency is reached. Garnish with whipped cream if desired and crumbled thin mints. Serve immediately.

MINT JULEP MILKSHAKES

Steps:

• In a blender combine the mint ice cream, ice, and bourbon. Blend into a slushy consistency. Pour into a tall glass and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Garnish with a big sprig of mint, sprinkled in powdered sugar.
• You can easily double or triple this recipe if you want to make more than one serving at a time for a group. You can just blend it all together and then separate out into glasses.

MINT JULEP MILKSHAKE

Steps:

• Refrigerate 1 large or 2 small glasses to chill. Blend the ice cream, bourbon and liqueur in a blender on medium-high speed until the mixture is uniform and creamy, about 1 minute. Pour it into the chilled glass(es), top with whipped cream and garnish with mint leaves.

Steps:

• Add bourbon, vanilla extract, bitters and ice cream to a blender.
• Blend until creamy.
• Pour into a chilled serving glass and garnish with mint and whipped cream. Chocolate garnish is optional.

MINT CHOCOLATE JULEP SHAKE

Steps:

• Add bourbon and ice cream to a blender, and blend until smooth.
• Pour into a Julep cup, and top with whipped cream.
• Garnish with chocolate shavings and a mint sprig.

CHOCOLATE MINT JULEP

Steps:

• In a sturdy double scotch glass pulverize mint leaves and sugar to release oils.
• Add ice and rum, stir gently.
• Add syrup (and crème de menthe if you are using it).
• Garnish with a couple more mint leaves.
• Enjoy.

MINT JULEP

Steps:

• Shake the bourbon, mint leaves and sugar syrup with ice and strain into a highball glass or julep tin filled with crushed ice. Churn gently with a long-handled spoon and top with more crushed ice. Garnish and serve.
