HOW TO MAKE A MIDORI ILLUSION
The Midori Illusion is always a popular request. A deliciously, sweet mix with melon and pineapple flavours, what's not to love about this one. The Midori Illusion has been popular served as a shot but I prefer to serve this recipe tall on ice.

Steps:
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice
- Add all the listed ingredients
- Shake thoroughly to ensure a nice creamy pineapple froth
- Strain over fresh ice into a tall glass
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry and/or a pineapple wedge
MIDORI ILLUSION COCKTAIL RECIPE
This cocktail is a product of the shooters fad that began in the 1990s. As its name suggests, the Midori Illusion or Melon Illusion. The recipe here calls for a double shot of Melon Liqueur, but this amount makes enough to fill several large shot glasses, so be sure to share the end result around. The vodka, on top of the already plentiful MIDORI, gives this cocktail an extra kick, but the pineapple juice makes for a mellow taste with pleasantly sour undertones.

MIDORI SPLICE (COCKTAIL)
This came from the little "recipe book" attached to my bottle of Midori. This makes a pitcher of neon-chartreuse-colored cocktails, about six tall drinks on ice. Garnish with a pineapple wedge, but I do always add a tropical paper parasol! And don't tell anyone, but my fiance likes to add an extra shot of Malibu to his glass; and I like an extra shot of Midori.
