Fresh berries and watermelon give a summer-inspired twist to this rosé sangria that's made ahead and chilled for an easy party staple.

1 pound fresh strawberries
1 pound seedless watermelon
1 (12 ounce) package fresh raspberries
2 (750 milliliter) bottles rosé wine
¾ cup white vermouth
¼ cup honey
1 sprig fresh basil leaves
3 (12 fluid ounce) cans chilled cucumber-flavored sparkling water, or to taste

Steps:

  • Cut strawberries in half and watermelon into chunks, or use a melon baller.
  • Combine strawberries, watermelon, and raspberries in a large bowl. Pour rosé, vermouth, and honey into a large pitcher and stir until honey dissolves. Add 1/2 of the fruit and basil. Place pitcher and remaining fruit in a refrigerator for at least 6 hours.
  • Scoop a large spoonful of cold fruit into the bottom of glasses; add sangria and sparkling cucumber water to taste.

1 bottle rose wine
1/4 cup brandy
1/4 cup triple sec
1 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup simple syrup, or more to taste
Orange slices, lemon slices, lime slices, apple slices and blackberries

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher, cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or up to 24 hours. If you do not serve immediately, strain the fruit and add fresh when serving.

2 peaches or plums, pitted and diced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 cup strawberries, halved
1/2 cup orange liqueur
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
2 bottles rose wine
Ice, for serving
Seltzer water, for serving, optional

Steps:

  • In a large mason jar or pitcher, muddle the peaches, lemons, oranges, strawberries, orange liqueur, sugar and lemon juice. Stir in the rose and refrigerate at least 4 to 6 hours and up to overnight.
  • When ready to serve, fill 6 glasses with ice and pour the sangria over the ice, scooping some of the macerated fruit into each glass. Top with seltzer if desired and serve.

3 ounces Cointreau or triple sec
3 ounces brandy or gold tequila

1 orange, cut into small, thin wedges
4 pounds cantaloupe or honeydew melon, seeded and cut into small wedges
3/4 cup natural lemon-lime soda, such as R. W. Knudsen's

Steps:

  • Stir together wine, grapefruit juice, Cointreau, and brandy in a large pitcher. Stir in fruit. Refrigerate at least 1 hour (up to 8 hours). Stir in soda. Serve over ice.

1 Chanterais melon or 1/2 large cantaloupe, cut into chunks
1 peach or nectarine, pitted and cut into 8 wedges
1/2 pint blackberries or raspberries
1 bottle (750 ml) sparkling water

Steps:

  • Stir together all the ingredients except sparkling water in a large pitcher. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve, up to 3 hours. Stir in the sparkling water, and serve over ice.

1 small seedless watermelon, rind removed, flesh cut into large chunks (about 4 cups)
1 pound strawberries, hulled and sliced, 1 cup reserved for garnish
1 bottle rose wine, cold
1 cup vodka
1 cup fresh orange juice
1/2 cup orange liqueur
1 orange, sliced
1 lime, sliced

Steps:

  • Combine the watermelon and strawberries in a blender and blend until smooth; add a splash of the vodka if needed to get the fruit pureed.
  • Strain into a large pitcher; you will need about 4 cups total juice. Add the rose, vodka, orange juice and liqueur and stir to combine. Add the orange and lime slices, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to 24 hours. Just before serving, add the reserved strawberries. Serve in glasses over ice.

1/2 cup Pom Wonderful pomegranate juice
1/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (3 lemons)
1/4 cup superfine sugar
3 tablespoons Grand Marnier
1 tablespoon Cognac or brandy
Water and ice, plus extra ice for serving
1/2 cup fresh raspberries
8 large fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
2 red plums, pitted and sliced 1/4 inch thick

Steps:

  • Combine the rose, pomegranate juice, lemon juice, sugar, Grand Marnier, Cognac, 1 cup of water, and 1 cup of ice in a large glass pitcher. Stir in the raspberries, strawberries, and plums, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours but preferably overnight.
  • When ready to serve, fill wine goblets or highball glasses halfway with ice. Pour the sangria over the ice, spooning some of the macerated fruit into each glass. Serve ice cold.

1 bottle sparkling wine, such as Prosecco or Brut (750 ml)
2 limes, sliced into wheels
1 melon baller
1 large pitcher, or punch bowl, for serving

Steps:

  • In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew balls, Moscato wine, lime juice, and honey and stir well. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, up to overnight.
  • Before serving, pour in the sparkling wine and add the lime wheels.
  • Ladle the sangria and fruit into glasses and serve.
