Steps:
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; beat in 1 egg at a time. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, nutmeg and salt; beat into creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Spread into a greased 13x9-in. baking dish., Mix brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon; sprinkle over top. Refrigerate, covered, overnight., Preheat oven to 350°. Remove coffee cake from refrigerator while oven heats. Bake, uncovered, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 35-40 minutes., Cool on a wire rack 10 minutes. Mix icing ingredients; drizzle over warm coffee cake.

EASY MAPLE PECAN COFFEE CAKE
Mmm! Coffee cake made easy by our good friend Bisquick. A quick crust is topped with a choux pastry, baked, then drizzled with maple glaze.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F
- In small bowl, cut 2 tablespoons butter into 1 cup Bisquick mix, using pastry blender until crumbly. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons water; mix until pastry cleans side of bowl. On ungreased cookie sheet, pat pastry into 11-inch circle. Set aside.
- In 3-quart saucepan, heat 3/4 cup water and 1/4 cup butter to rolling boil. Add 1 teaspoon maple flavor and 1 cup Bisquick mix all at once. Stir vigorously over low heat about 1 1/2 minutes or until mixture forms a ball; remove from heat.
- Beat in eggs, one at a time; continue beating until very smooth. Spread mixture evenly over the crust.
- Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until topping is crisp and dark golden brown; cool slightly.
- In small bowl, stir glaze ingredients until smooth and thin enough to drizzle. Drizzle over cofee cake. Sprinkle with pecans.

PECAN COFFEE CAKE
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a small bowl, stir 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon together. Butter a tube pan well and liberally coat it with the cinnamon sugar.
- In a mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream the butter until smooth. With the mixer running, slowly add the sugar and mix. Add the eggs and mix until the mixture is light and fluffy. Sift the sifted flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together. Working in batches, add them to the butter-sugar mixture, alternating with dollops of sour cream. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Make the topping: In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Add the butter and, using your fingertips, pinch the ingredients together into a sandy, crumbly mixture. Add the pecans and mix. Sprinkle the mixture over the cake.
- Bake until risen and browned, about 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool in the pan then turn out. Serve in slices.

- Grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish and set aside.. In a medium bowl, combine all streusel ingredients. Set aside.. In a small bowl, combine all cinnamon swirl ingredients. Set aside.. For the cake: In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Set aside.. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar with a hand or stand mixer until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Add the syrup and vanilla and mix until combined. Mix in the eggs 1 at a time.. Alternate adding the flour mixture and sour cream. Start with half the flour mixture, then half the sour cream, mixing to combine between each addition. Repeat once more until everything is completely combined.. Spread half the cake batter onto the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the cinnamon swirl mixture evenly over the top. Spread the remaining batter over the cinnamon swirl layer. Sprinkle the streusel mixture evenly over the top.. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator overnight.. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove plastic wrap and bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool, then slice and serve.
