Steps:
- In a double boiler or metal bowl over simmering water, constantly whisk the eggs, sugar, vinegar, cream, butter, mustard and salt until mixture reaches 160° or is thick enough to coat the back of a metal spoon. Remove from the heat; cool to room temperature. Fold in mayonnaise. Chill until preparing salad., For salad, place potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or until tender. Drain and cool to room temperature. In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, celery and onion. Add dressing and pepper if desired; stir until blended. Chill until serving.

- Make the cake. I like to use a chocolate cake for this recipe, but you can use any flavor you'd like. A boxed cake mix is just fine. Or you can make my chocolate or white cake.
- Cool the cake completely. Frost with the vanilla frosting. Then top with the cream cheese frosting.
- Use the fresh berries to decorate your cake. Take a picture and dig in!

Steps:
- Peel potatoes, and boil until just done, about 20 minutes. (Just until your fork can be inserted all the way through the potato. You don't want them mushy).
- Drain well and let cool, then dice or slice potatoes. (I like a small dice, about 1/2"x1/2"). The potatoes will cut nicely once chilled and won't fall apart.
- Mix other ingredients, and add to chilled potatoes. Let set in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving for flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled.

- Preheat the oven to 425ºF. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Place sweet potatoes on the baking tray in a pile. Drizzle with the olive oil and sprinkle with cumin, cinnamon, cayenne, and salt. Toss together with your hands then arrange in a single layer on the tray. Roast for about 20 minutes, until fork-tender.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the lime juice, oil, lemon juice, syrup, garlic, mustard, and salt. When potatoes are done, set aside to cool for about 10 minutes then place them in the bowl with the dressing. Add black beans, corn, scallions, and peanuts. Toss to combine. Garnish with fresh herbs. Serve immediately or chill before serving.

The Canlis Restaurant is in Seattle. To coddle an egg, bring a small saucepan of water to a simmer. Then simmer the egg for exactly 1 minute. Coddled eggs make the dressing very creamy.

- Into a large wooden bowl, pour 2 Tbsp oil.
- Sprinkle with salt and rub firmly with garlic.
- Remove garlic.
- In the bottom of the bowl, place tomatoes.
- Add romaine lettuce.
- Add onion, cheese, and bacon.
- Into a separate bowl, pour 3 oz oil, lemon juice, pepper, mint, and oregano.
- Add the coddled egg. (Be sure to not add the shells!).
- Whip vigorously.
- When ready to serve, pour dressing over salad.
- Add croutons and toss.

- Peel and cut potatoes into 1/2" cubes
- Boiled cubed potatoes with 6 whole eggs (this saves time!)
- Once cooked, strain contents and peel eggs
- Chop up eggs and add to drained potatoes. Remember to set aside 1-2 eggs for garnish
- Add mayo, mustard and relish to bowl and mix
- Add salt and pepper (to taste) and stir mix
- Top with chopped remaining boiled eggs
- Sprinkle with paprika
