Lime Ricky Float Margarita Food

MANGO-RASPBERRY MARGARITA FLOAT

Steps:

• Pour the tequila into a tall glass. Add the mango and raspberry sorbet and the lime juice. Top with the lemon-lime soda and stir.

MARGARITA FLOATS

Steps:

• Using lime wedges, moisten the rims of 6 margarita or cocktail glasses. Set aside lime wedges for garnish. Sprinkle sugar on a plate; hold each glass upside down and dip rim into sugar. Set aside. Discard remaining sugar on plate., Scoop ice cream and sherbet into prepared glasses. Combine soda, lime juice and tequila; pour into glasses. Garnish with reserved lime wedges. Serve immediately.

LIME RICKEY

Steps:

• Pour ¾ oz. fresh lime juice, 1 oz. 1:1 simple syrup, and 3 dashes of Angostura bitters, in an ice-filled collins or iced-tea glass and top with club soda. Garnish with a spiral of lime peel. SMOKEY MARGARITA

Steps:

• Place tequila, Triple Sec, lime juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker and shake until combined. Serve over ice in a rocks glass and pour mezcal on top; do not stir the mezcal into the drink, as it should "float" on top.

CHERRY LIME RICKY

Steps:

• Put the cherries, lime, and sugar into a large rocks glass. Muddle the fruit and sugar by pressing them with a pestle or a wooden spoon until juicy and fragrant. Add the gin and crushed ice. Cover with a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously, or stir, until combined and chilled, about 30 seconds. (In general, by the time the shaker mists up the drink is ready.) Serve.

GRAPE LIME RICKY

Steps:

• Combine the lime juice and Grape Simple Syrup in a highball or wine glass. Top off with some ginger ale or sparking water. Add ice, then stir and serve immediately.
• Combine the jelly and 1/2 cup water in a medium saucepot. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat and stir until the jelly is dissolved. Let simmer until syrupy, 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool completely.
