LEMON LIME FLOAT

Steps:

• Place 10 - 8 ounce glasses in the freezer overnight.
• Into each frosted glass, Place 2 scoops sherbet. Fill glasses with lemon-lime soda.

FLUFFY LEMON-LIME PIE

Steps:

• In a large bowl, dissolve soft drink mix in milk; fold in whipped topping. Spoon into crust. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours or until set.

STRAWBERRY PIE(SUGAR FREE)

Steps:

• Cook soda and cornstarch to boiling.
• Remove from heat.
• Add jello and stir to dissolve.
• Add strawberries to mixture and stir until all the strawberries are coated.
• Fill pie shell and pour remaining juice over pie.
• Refrigerate until pie is set.

LEMON LIME SODA APPLE DUMPLINGS

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
• Butter a baking dish. Cut each apple into 8 wedges and add them to a bowl of ice water with lemon juice. Separate the crescent roll dough into triangles. Remove the apples from water and pat dry with paper towels. Roll each apple wedge in the dough starting at the smallest end. Put all of the triangles into the baking dish.
• In a small bowl mix the sugar, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg until well combined. Sprinkle over the apple triangles, generously covering all portions. Cut the butter into small pieces and scatter over the baking dish, evenly distributing it around the dumplings. Pour the lemon lime soda over the dumplings. Bake until the dumplings are golden brown, about 40 to 50 minutes. Remove from the oven and arrange on a serving platter. Serve warm with a side of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

OUR FAVORITE FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE

Steps:

• For the crust: Spoon flour into measuring cup and level. Combine flour and salt in a medium bowl. Cut in shortening using a pastry blender until all flour is blended to form pea-sized chunks. Sprinkle with water, 1 tablespoon at a time. Toss lightly with fork until dough forms a ball. Press dough between hands to form a 5 to 6-inch pancake. Lightly flour rolling surface and rolling pin. Roll dough into circle. Trim 1-inch larger than upside-down pie plate. Loosen dough carefully. Fold dough into quarters. Unfold and press into pie plate. Fold edge under. Flute.
• For the filling: Blend sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan; add lemon-lime soda. Cook stirring until smooth and thick. Add strawberries and cook for a few minutes. If desired, add red food coloring. Pour into cooled pie shell. Chill. Top with whipped cream if desired.

LEMON-LIME SODA PIE

Steps:

• In a medium saucepan, cook carbonated beverage, sugar and cornstarch over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in gelatin.
• Place strawberries in pie crust and pour gelatin mixture over top of them. Spread whipped topping over strawberry layer; cover and refrigerate overnight or for several hours before serving.

DELICIOUS LEMON LIME LOAF

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour the inside of a loaf pan.
• In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs and yogurt, lemon and lime zest, and lemon and lime juice and beat until everything is thoroughly mixed, about 30 seconds.
• In a medium-sized bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, and sea salt. Add it to the large bowl and beat the batter just until everything comes together.
• Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake in for 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
• Remove the loaf from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before carefully turning it out onto a cooling rack.

LEMON-LIME CHEESECAKE

Steps:

• HEAT oven to 350 degrees F.
• MIX graham crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of parchment-lined 9-inch springform pan.
• BEAT cream cheese and granulated sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add lemon zest and juice, lime zest and juice, and vanilla; mix well. Blend in flour. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating on low speed after each just until blended. Pour over crust.
• BAKE 35 to 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim. Refrigerate cheesecake 4 hours.
• BEAT cream in small bowl with mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form, gradually adding icing sugar after soft peaks form. Spread over cheesecake.
