BUL DAK (KOREAN FIRE CHICKEN)
This dish tastes best when enjoyed with some refreshing beer or rice wine. Also, try adding some melted mozzarella cheese on top if you don't mind the extra calories!

Steps:
- Combine chicken, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, rice wine, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon sugar, and black pepper in a large bowl. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Combine Asian pear, onion, jalapeno peppers, red pepper flakes, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and mustard in a blender; puree into a smooth sauce.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken; cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Increase heat to medium-high; pour in sauce. Cook until flavors combine, 3 to 4 minutes. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.

I can't seem to make enough of this sauce--and I triple the recipe every time. My family uses it on eggs, hash browns, taco's and burritos (of course). So, if you like this type of thing, this is the sauce for you!

Steps:
- Combine the tomato paste and water in a saucepan.
- Whisk until smooth.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the tomato mixture.
- Heat over medium/high heat until it begins to boil.
- Continue to cook, stirring often, for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- When sauce has cooled, pour into a glass airtight container and refrigerate.
- Stores well in the refrigerator.
KOREAN FIRE SAUCE
Steps:
- Mince fresh ingredients to fine consistency. Assemble other ingredients within easy reach.
- Heat soy sauce in medium saucepan as you mix in remaining ingredients. Simmer over medium heat to a syrup consistency. Monitor heat closely to ensure sugar does not burn by constant stirring to dissolve completely.
