Ingredients

2 lbs chicken strips
2 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon flour
1 teaspoon pepper
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 teaspoon liquid smoke

Steps:

Mix flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Place buttermilk in a seperate bowl.
Heat oil for frying.
Dip chicken into flour, then buttermilk, then flour again.
Fry until golden brown.
For sauce:.
Place all sauce ingredients in a small sauce pan.
Mix thouroughly and simmer on low heat, stirring frequently for about 20 minutes. Let cool slightly.
Dip chicken strips into sauce one at a time and place on a baking dish that has been sprayed with non stick spray.
Place in preheated oven at 350 degrees and bake for 15-20 minutes.

1/3 cup white vinegar
1/8 cup molasses
1/8 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon msg
1/4 teaspoon chili powder

Steps:

In a sauce pan combine all of the above and bring to a simmer.
Simmer for 5 minutes and keep warm.

1/2 teaspoon pepper
20 chicken drummettes
2 cups barbecue sauce (use only Bull's-Eye brand)
3/4 cup honey
vegetable oil, for deep-frying

Steps:

Combine the flour, salt, and pepper in a dish and coat the chicken in the flour mixture.
Heat the barbecue sauce and honey in a saucepan. Once warm, reduce the heat to a simmer.
Add the oil to a deep-fryer and theat to 375°.
Deep-fry the chicken, 6 to 8 pieces at a time, for 15 minutes or until cooked thoroughly.
Drain the chicken on paper towels and smother with the barbecue sauce mixture.
