Best Ever Impossible Pie image

Really easy and tasty dessert. The flour sinks to form a crust, the middle is a custard and the top is coconut. Serve chilled with a dollop of Cool Whip.

2 cups milk (low fat is fine)
1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup coconut, dessicated or finely shredded
1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 dash salt (optional)

Steps:

  • Blend all the ingredients until well mixed.
  • Pour into a 10" greased pie plate.
  • Bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until centre feels firm.

4 tablespoons salted butter, divided
1 (12 ounce) package Impossible Burger
2 medium shallots, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup frozen peas and carrots, thawed
8 ounces brown gravy
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
salt and ground black pepper to taste
2 cups mashed potatoes
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a 10-inch skillet over medium to medium-high heat. Cook and stir the meatless ground beef with shallots and garlic until browned and crumbly and shallots are soft, about 10 minutes. Add peas and carrots, gravy, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Saute for 5 minutes.
  • Spread the mixture onto the bottom of a 10-inch round baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes evenly over the top. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese and dot with remaining butter.
  • Bake in the center of the preheated oven until the cheese and butter have fully melted, about 20 minutes. Top with parsley and serve.

2 tablespoons margarine or 2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
1/4 cup sugar
1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
2 tablespoons firm margarine or 2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Grease a 10-inch pie plate.
  • Beat all ingredients, except pie filling and streusel, until smooth - 15 seconds in blender on high or 1 minute with hand beater.
  • Pour into pie plate.
  • Spoon pie filling evenly over top.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, make streusel: Cut 2 Tablespoons firm margarine or butter into 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix, 1/2 cup packed brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon until crumbly.
  • Top pie with streusel.
  • Bake about 10 minutes longer until streusel is brown; cool.

2 large eggs
1/2 cup(s) bisquick mix
1/4 cup(s) granulated sugar
21 ounce(s) can cherry pie filling
STREUSEL:
2 tablespoon(s) firm margarine or butter
1/2 cup(s) bisquick mix
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Pie: Heat oven to 400^. Grease a 10-inch pie plate. Beat all ingredients, except the pie filling and Streusel until smooth, about 15 seconds in blender on high or 1 minute with hand beater. Pour into pie plate. Spoon pie filling evenly over top. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and top with streusel. Bake until streusel is brown, about 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack. --- Streusel: Cut butter into the Bisquick,sugar and cinnamon until crumbly.

3 cups fresh fruit, chopped if needed
4 eggs
1/2 cup Bisquick
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup milk
powdered sugar (for garnish)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Grease 10" pan, put fruit in pan.
  • Blend all remaining ingredients (except Powdered Sugar) for 3 minutes.
  • Pour over Fruit. Let set for a few minutes. Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
  • After Pie is cooled, dust with Powdered Sugar.

1 1/2 cups milk
3/4 cup Bisquick
3 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
pepper
2 cups milk
1 cup Bisquick
4 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
pepper
1/2-1 cup chopped cooked meat, approximately
3/4-1 cup cheese, shredded
3/4-1 cup vegetables, cooked and chopped or 3/4-1 cup vegetables, raw, chopped

Steps:

  • Choose the base ingredients based on the size of the pie pan you are using.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Grease desired size pie pan.
  • Sprinkle meat, cheese and vegetables, if using, into pan.
  • Beat base ingredients until smooth, 14 to 30 seconds in a blender; or 1 minute on high with a hand beater; or 2 minutes by hand.
  • Pour batter into pan, covering filling ingredients.
  • Bake 30 to 35 minutes, or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean, and top is golden brown.
  • Cool 5 minutes before serving.
  • Variations:
  • Chicken, broccoli, jack cheese, onion -- ham, mushrooms, Swiss cheese --.

  • bacon, sliced roma tomatoes, cheddar (the BLT) --.

  • spinach, feta cheese, black olives, diced tomato (the Greek).
  • NOTES:.
  • Use any raw or leftover cooked vegetables, chopped into uniform sizes.
  • Carrots and potatoes must be cooked.
  • Slice or chop raw veggies smaller than cooked.
  • Thawed frozen spinach (squeezed dry) and frozen broccoli work well.
  • Add herbs/spices as desired.
  • Try all veggie or all cheese pies.
  • Add mustard, horseradish, hot sauce, BBQ sauce, etc. to base in small amounts (about 1 tablespoon) if it seems appropriate.
