ICED MOCHAS

Iced Mochas image

All of my friends rave about these frosty drinks. I pour my leftover coffee in ice cube trays and keep them on hand all the time. You can make fun squiggly designs on insides of glasses with chocolate syrup, before pouring mochas. Top with whipped cream.

ICED MOCHA COFFEE

Iced Mocha Coffee image

This is a recipe adapted from a Taste of Home recipe. I make this as a syrup and store it in the fridge to add milk to whenever I want an iced coffee.

Provided by Sarah C in MN

Categories     Beverages

Time 5m

Yield 11-15 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup brewed espresso (could try strong coffee)
1/2 cup instant coffee granules
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
8 tablespoons chocolate-flavor Nestle Nesquik powder
8 ounces milk, per serving
ice

Steps:

  • Dissolve coffee granules and Nesquik powder in the hot brewed espresso.
  • Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix well.
  • Store this syrup in the fridge in a container that can easily be shaken.
  • When you are ready to serve, put ice and milk in a glass. Shake the syrup to mix it well, then add 3-4 tablespoons of the syrup (to taste) to the milk. Stir and enjoy!
  • I have also used this to make a blended drink by using more ice and less milk.

WAY TOO EASY ICED MOCHA

Way Too Easy Iced Mocha image

In the summer, this is how I start each day. It's so quick and simple--the perfect thing to throw together as you're running out the door. I make this in a travel-safe container and drink it on the way to work. It's easiest to just reserve a cup of coffee when brewing it fresh.

ICED MOCHA COFFEE

Iced Mocha Coffee image

I'm a big fan of iced coffee as a cool, refreshing sort of drink. This recipe really fits that description. I originally found this recipe somewhere around the web while looking for a good iced coffee recipe, but since originally finding it, it seems to have disappeared. What I've listed here is my best recollection, based on my own personal experimentation, of the best iced mocha coffee I've had.

Provided by SemperFidelis9a

Categories     Beverages

Time 10m

Yield 6-7 cups, 4-6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 7

6 cups strong coffee (I leave this preparation to your discretion. Generally, if making six cups, I use approximately 9-12)
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup milk
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Combine the coffee grounds, cinnamon, and nutmeg in the coffee filter of an automatic coffee pot. Make sure they are well mixed.
  • Brew coffee.
  • While coffee brews, warm milk in a small saucepan.
  • When milk is warm, add the brown sugar and chocolate syrup. Stir until everything is mixed together and the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Add the vanilla extract to the milk mixture and stir to combine.
  • Pour the milk mixture into a separate container large enough to hold it and the coffee.
  • Pour in the brewed coffee and shake to mix it up.
  • Place the mixture into the refrigerator or freezer to cool. Alternatively, just drink it warm.
  • NOTE: Make sure that you mix the coffee grounds, cinnamon, and nutmeg together before you brew the coffee.
  • NOTE: You don't necessarily need to pour the coffee and milk mixture into a separate container, that's just my preference. If you have a large enough pot, you can just pour the coffee into there but make sure its mixed well.

ICED MOCHA SHAKE

Iced Mocha Shake image

I went through pages of coffe/mocha shakes/smoothies recipes, but didn't find one like this. So I'm posting it. You have to love coffee, but if you do, you'll love this. For calorie counters, use non-fat frozen yoghurt and skim milk and artificial sweetener. If you don't care about calories, use ice cream and cream.
