HUMMINGBIRD FOOD
This is such an easy recipe. I don't add any food color to this as I've heard it's not good for the little birds. Do not use honey or other types of sugar, the birds cannot digest them. Also if you have trouble with ants you can now get a little item that has ant repellent in it that doesn't harm the birds. I have one on my hummer feeder.

Steps:
- Bring the water to a boil.
- Take the water off the heat and add the sugar.
- Stir to dissolve completely.
- Let the nectar cool.
- Place in a clean hummingbird feeder and hang outside for the birds.
- Note:.
- Change the food at least every three to five days with a new batch to keep it fresh. Remember don't use food coloring.
- Check the bird feeder regularly and every time you change the food to see if any gray mold has formed inside the feeder base, or, any ants have crawled inside to get at the sugar water.
- If you see any take the feeder down and throw the bird food away. It's not good for the birds to drink this. Chances are they won't drink it anyway.
- Clean the hummingbird feeder by rinsing with warm water. Then, put a few drops of bleach into the water inside the feeder and clean with a bottle brush.
- Once clean, rinse thoroughly with fresh water and let dry.
- Fill up with new food and place outside.
- The birds will love you for it!

- METHOD:.
- Cube bread or rustic tear into small pieces.
- Whisk eggs, add vanilla and milk- mix.
- Add dry ingredients- sugar, cinnamon.
- Mix in smashed banana.
- Fold in banana pieces, pecans, coconut, and pineapple.
- Add all bread to mixture- stir and mix.
- Let mixture sit for 10-15 minutes- mix again after 5-10 minutes.
- Pour mixture in greased casserole pan, bake at 350 degrees F for about 45 minutes.
- Cool, serve, top with Cream Cheese Pecan Sauce (recipe follows).
- Whip cream cheese with spoon and add powdered sugar slowly until smooth. Add vanilla and milk. Mix completely.
- Fold in pecans and drizzle over warm Hummingbird Bread Pudding!

This is a strange name for a cake, but it is very good.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 12 cup Bundt pan.
- Measure flour, sugar, soda, salt, cinnamon, oil, eggs, vanilla into mixing bowl. Beat until smooth. Stir in pineapple with juice, bananas, and pecans. Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake in oven for about 70 minutes. Turn cake out onto rack or plate after cooling for 20 minutes. Cool, and ice with cream cheese icing.

- Heat oven to 325°F.
- Combine flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Beat butter and granulated sugar in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add bananas, pineapple and dry pudding mix; beat 2 min. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in 3/4 cup nuts.
- Pour into greased and floured 12-inch fluted tube pan.
- Bake 1 hour 5 min. to 1 hour 15 min. or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool cake in pan 20 min. Loosen cake from sides of pan with knife. Invert onto wire rack; gently remove pan. Cool cake completely.
- Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until blended. Spoon into piping bag fitted with large round tip; use to drizzle icing over cake. Sprinkle with remaining nuts.

- Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, whole milk, white sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Place the cubed bread in a large bowl and pour the egg and milk mixture over the bread. Allow to rest for 10 minutes, stirring once.
