This grilled shrimp is perfectly seasoned and over the top good! Here's how to grill shrimp: it's easy and they cook up in 5 minutes. Or, try them with our Best Shrimp Marinade.

1 pound large shrimp, tail on and deveined (we used 26-30 per pound size)
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 lemon

Steps:

  • Thaw the shrimp. Then pat the shrimp dry.
  • Preheat a grill to medium-high heat (375 to 450 degrees).
  • Place the shrimp in a bowl and add the olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix with your hands to combine.
  • Place directly on a grill and grill 1 to 2 minutes per side until bright pink and cooked through.
  • Remove from the grill and squeeze on fresh lemon juice from several wedges of the lemon, to taste.

12 oz. peeled and deveined shrimp
2 tsp. olive oil
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. black pepper
5-6 skewers
1 lemon, cut into wedges

Steps:

  • If you're using wooden skewers, 30 minutes prior to grilling soak them in water so they don't burn on the grill.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Lay the shrimp on a flat surface and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Rub them with the olive oil and sprinkle on the salt and pepper.
  • Fill the skewers with the shrimp, adding about 5 to each.
  • Lay the skewers on the grill for 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Remove them from the grill and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing onto the shrimp.

2 tablespoons canola oil
1 tablespoon kosher salt
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Heat your grill to high.
  • Place the shrimp in a large bowl. Toss the shrimp with the oil and season with the salt and pepper.
  • Place the shrimp on the grates of the grill in an even layer and grill until golden brown and slightly charred, 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Turn the shrimp over and continue grilling until just cooked through, 45 seconds to 1 minute longer. Remove the shrimp to a platter.
