Jun 8, 2011 If you properly process it, and seal it (forget the was, use proper lids and rings), you should expect the canned product to last between 5 and 20 years. Sometimes longer. This, of course, is dependent on how you store it. Light, heat and oxygen are the enemies of of all food preservation techniques. From survivalistboards.com

Jan 17, 2022 Full-fat instant milk will also last a year or more, but the heat processing makes the fat in it unhealthy. You can easily make healthy full-fat instant milk out of nonfat powdered milk and canned butter/ghee and get a 10-year storage life for those ingredients if you are looking for a way to store milk longer term. As with any storable food, the cooler you can keep it, the longer it will last on the shelf. (We've eaten it 3-years-old and one of our customers has eaten it 6 years old.) From survivalistboards.com
