cinnamon stick and apple slice, for garnish

Steps:

Warm apple cider in a small pan over medium heat.
Pour into your favorite mug, add 2 ounces of caramel vodka, and stir to combine.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick and/or fresh apple slice and serve warm.

I wanted a creamy concoction, suitable to take the chill off and linger in my memory. This is what I came up with, I hope you enjoy!

2 cups apple cider
4 -5 tablespoons caramel syrup (or ice cream topping)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
whipped cream (to garnish)
caramel syrup, to drizzle
nutmeg (to garnish)
cinnamon (to garnish)

Steps:

In a medium saucepan heat apple cider, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir occasionally, until hot.
Add caramel syrup to taste and stir to mix.
Remove from heat and pour into 2 mugs.
Top with whipped cream. Drizzle over a little more caramel syrup. Sprinkle a dash of nutmeg and cinnamon over the top. Enjoy!

Ingredients

6 ounces apple juice (Treetop 100% Juice is best!)
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 ounce caramel syrup (Torani brand, or something similar)
1 ounce vodka (the smoother, the better ( as middle of the road, I recommend Three Olives brand vodka)
whipped cream (optional)
caramel sauce (optional)

Steps:

In a saucepan, bring the apple juice, cinnamon, and caramel syrup to a boil.
Reduce heat, and add vodka.
Let simmer for 5-7 minutes
Serve in a mug.
Top off with whipped cream, another dash of cinnamon, and/or caramel sauce, if you prefer.
Enjoy your hot, relaxing beverage!
** If beverage is too sweet, omit the caramel syrup and have a vodka-apple-cider-sans-caramel instead!

1 1/2 teaspoons cider vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 inches cinnamon sticks
6 whole cloves
1 orange, sliced
1/2 cup apple jack apple liqueur (optional)
1/3 cup caramel ice cream topping

Steps:

combine all ingredients except topping in a slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low setting 5-6 hours.
Serve in mugs, drizzling a teaspoonful of topping into each mug.
