SPICY HONEY-ORANGE CHICKEN

Spicy Honey-Orange Chicken image

If you like General Tzo's Chicken, you will probably like this flavorful dish. It is both sweet and spicy and is very easy to make. It can be served with rice, or you can leave the chicken breasts whole, glazed with the spicy honey-orange sauce. It is very easy to adjust the ingredients to fit your family's taste. This recipe was adapted from a recipe that was given to me by a friend.

Provided by Crafty Lady 13

Categories     Chicken Breast

Time 25m

HONEY BASIL GRILLED CHICKEN

Honey Basil Grilled Chicken image

This is a yummy flavor filled chicken dish. It's perfect for those hot summer says when you don't want to heat up the kitchen. It can also be prepared in the broiler. I did not include marinating time in the total prep time. I like to serve it with a rice dish and a spinach salad. A cool key-lime pie would make it a perfect meal!

HONEY ORANGE BASIL CHICKEN - REVIEW BY LINDA T
I really enjoyed this chicken. I used fresh basil instead of dried and more fresh orange zest. I don't have a grill, so I baked this and then put it under the broiler to brown. Was very yummy. Terrific hot or cold. I can't stand to throw away marinade, so I boiled the remainder down to a glaze to serve with the chicken.
