Super Easy Homemade Spicy Pita Chips. So much better than store bought. Only 4 ingredients and ready in less than 15 minutes!

4 pitas (cut into 8 triangles)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne, (or more if you like it really spicy!)
1/2 tsp salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Add pitas to a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with seasonings and toss to coat the pita chips.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway. Take out of the oven and let the chips cool on the pan. Serve with your favorite dips and salsas! Store leftover chips at room temperature in an airtight container.

1 clove garlic, smashed
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Cut pitas into 8 wedges. Pour olive oil into a bowl and add garlic, salt and pepper. Brush pita chips olive oil and garlic mixture. Arrange pita chips on baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.

1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 teaspoon paprika
4 tablespoons olive oil

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Spread the pita wedges out in a single layer on the baking sheets. In a small bowl, mix together the za'atar, granulated garlic and paprika. Drizzle the olive oil over the pita, then evenly sprinkle the spice blend over each wedge.
  • Bake until golden and crispy, 25 to 30 minutes, rotating the pans halfway through.
  • Serve immediately or let cool completely and then store in an airtight container.
