3/4 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 egg
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 beef bouillon cubes, dissolved in
3/4 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons brown sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl until well combined.
  • Knead dough for about 1 minute.
  • On a floured surface, roll out dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  • Cut out with dog bone cutter and place on greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Cool completely before feeding to pet or putting in jar.

¾ cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 egg, beaten
½ cup vegetable oil
2 cubes beef bouillon cube
¾ cup boiling water
2 tablespoons brown sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Lightly grease one cookie sheet.
  • Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water and allow to cool.
  • Combine the flour, dry milk, egg, oil, beef broth and brown sugar. Mix well and knead dough for 1 minute.
  • On a floured surface roll out dough to about 1/4 inch thickness. Cut out bones and place on cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 30 minutes and allow to cool.

1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons baking powder
2 eggs
3 tablespoons instant beef bouillon
10 ounces water
1 cup cheese (grated)
4 ounces beef baby food (or 1/2 cup cooked beef liver or chicken)

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in food processor, mix until a ball forms. (if you use cooked liver or chicken, reduce amount of water).
  • Roll dow on lightly floured surface to about 1/2" thick.
  • Cut out the shapes your prefer, or using a cookie cutter.
  • Place 1" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Cook 40 minutes in preheated oven at 350F and let cookies cool in closed oven.

2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/3 cup hard margarine or 1/3 cup butter, cubed
1 egg
1/2 cup skim milk
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Steps:

  • Mix flour, salt and sugar together with fork.
  • Cut margarine into flour and using your fingers, work in margarine until mixture forms clumps.
  • Make a large well in centre of mixture.
  • In another bowl whisk egg with a fork, add skim milk and peanut butter and whisk until peanut butter has streaks running through it.
  • Pour into well in flour mixture and work together with a fork.
  • Using your hands, knead mixture until evenly moist- about 2-3 minutes.
  • Roll into ball and place on floured surface.
  • Roll dough to about 1/2 inch thickness and cut with cookie cutter or cut into squares according to the size you would like.
  • Bake at 350 for 30 minutes until golden brown. I sometimes leave them in the oven after it's turned off to make them crispier.
  • Remove to racks to cool.
  • Store in container in cool place or frig for 2 weeks, or freeze.

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

3 cups water
1 ½ cups rolled oats
2 tablespoons canola oil
4 pounds boneless chicken thighs, chopped
1 pound frozen cut green beans
¼ cup liquid aminos (such as Bragg®)

Steps:

  • Pour water and oats into a rice cooker. Seal and select setting according to manufacturer's instructions; cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Pull out the pot as soon as the unit clocks to Warm setting. Set aside.
  • Heat oil over high heat in a large frying pan. Add chicken and cook, covered, for 4 minutes, stirring every minute. Add green beans and cook, covered, stirring every minute, for 4 minutes. Pour in aminos and stir; chop mixture using a spatula. Cover, reduce heat to low, and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Add cooked oatmeal to mixture; stir and chop further using a spatula. Remove from heat and let cool completely, 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Package for freezing.

2 cups brown rice
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
½ (16 ounce) package frozen broccoli, carrots and cauliflower combination

Steps:

  • Place the water, ground turkey, rice, and rosemary into a large Dutch oven. Stir until the ground turkey is broken up and evenly distributed throughout the mixture; bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. 1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground chicken
1/2 lb ground turkey
1 lb baby carrots
2 small baking potatoes
3 cups brown rice
3 eggs, slightly beaten
3 cups chicken broth
2 cups water

Steps:

  • Cook all 3 ground meats together in larger 6 quart dutch oven.
  • Add rice, chicken broth and water. Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes.
  • Add potatoes and carrots, and slightly beaten eggs. Cook for an additional 20 - 30 minutes.
  • After cooking, put mixture into storage containers. This freezes very well.
