HOLIDAY OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES

Holiday Oatmeal Raisin Cookies image

Another great recipe from my mother's recipe box. These cookies are great. This does not make a doughy batter, but they come out just fine. These go over well at Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. I've taken them to potlucks. You can use different colored candy pieces and have them at halloween and New Year's.

The recipe for these cookies was on a box of store brand oatmeal. When making them, we ran out of raisins and ended up substituting with craisins (i.e. cranberry raisins). The result was a Christmas classic for our household... Recipe developed by cookbook author Marlene Sorosky Gray.
