EASY STIR FRY SAUCE
A basic stir fry sauce that I've been using for years. I got the recipe from my mother, but I don't know where she got it from. I make no claim to authenticity.

REAL CHINESE ALL PURPOSE STIR FRY SAUCE
My secret weapon for mid week meals - an All Purposes Chinese Stir Fry Sauce, a versatile base that makes a wonderfully glossy sauce for any stir fry, including stir fried noodles. Store it in the fridge in a jar for when you need it - just make sure to leave sufficient headroom in the jar so you can give it a good shake before using. This makes 1 1/2 cups of sauce which is enough for around 12 servings.

HEATHER'S BLUEBERRY CHICKEN STIR FRY
This tangy, sweet, and savory recipe is excellent for either a stir fry sauce or a lovely salad dressing. This was thrown together in an effort to use blueberries that had failed to make it into dessert...and thus this tasty dish is born!

HEATHER'S STIR-FRY SAUCE
My SIL is a newlywed, and she's turning into quite a good cook -- we have even started sharing recipes. This is HER stir fry sauce, and I love its basic goodness. You can add ingredients (I'll add a few spoonfuls of black bean sauce sometimes, for example) or change them around (I often use brown sugar instead of white, and sometimes I use rice wine vinegar instead of the white). I keep losing the piece of paper I have this scribbled on, so it's time to bring it to Zaar!

STIR FRY SAUCE
This recipe came from a Williams-Sonoma cookbook. It is a generic chinese type brown sauce great for making just about any type of stir fry. Simple and delicious. Our favorite way to use it is on a stir fry of beef, asparagus, and red pepper.

STIR-FRY SAUCE
This sauce was adapted from a Mollie Katzen "Moosewood Cookbook" recipe. Add to stir-fried vegetables - plus chicken, if you are not a vegetarian. If you are a garlic lover, add more - it is really strong since the sauce is barely cooked.

EASY STIR-FRY SAUCE
Here's a way to elevate any stir-fry, especially when you are making it from veggie and meat scraps that are lingering in your refrigerator. Pro tip: You can use half of it as a marinade for your proteins before you add them to the skillet. It also makes a tasty dipping sauce for steamed dumplings or pot-stickers.

- Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch to a mason jar. Screw on the lid and shake to combine
- Be sure to use this stir fry sauce with fresh minced garlic and fresh minced ginger in your stir fry (cooked with your vegetables/protein), as stated in the post. This is what will give it the "wow" factor.
- Once your stir fry is mostly cooked, add the stir fry sauce and heat an additional 3 - 5 minutes, or until sauce thickens. This is important, as the corn starch needs a few minutes to thicken up.
- READ THIS RECIPE NOTE - this is intended to cover around 8 servings of stir fry, served over UNSALTED rice or noodles. Otherwise it will be too salty. It is a highly concentrated sauce. A little goes a long way! If you are making a small stir fry, start by adding a few tablespoons of sauce at a time until desired saltiness.

- To make the sauce combine the next four ingredients (soy sauce, water, ginger & honey) in a small pot over high heat. Bring to a boil and then keep on a low simmer while you prepare the rest of the meal.
- In a wok or sauté pan heat the oil over medium heat then add the veggies and meat/seafood. I held back the mushrooms and added them towards the end since they don’t take as long to cook.
