HEATH COOKIE BARS
These rich Heath cookie bars are frosted with chocolate and studded with crunchy Heath bar toffee bits inside and out!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, vanilla and egg yolks on low speed until smooth.
- Add the flour, salt and 1 cup Heath toffee bits and stir until just combined. The mixture will be thick and crumbly.
- Empty mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it out evenly using wet fingers. Bake for 25 minutes, until golden.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Let sit for 5 minutes, then spread evenly using an offset spatula. Sprinkle with the remaining Heath toffee bits.
- Cool completely then refrigerate for 20 minutes to allow the chocolate to set up. Lift from the pan using the parchment paper onto a cutting board, then cut into squares and serve.

HEATH TOFFEE CHOCOLATE TRIFLE

Steps:
- Follow the instructions on the box to prepare the cake mix and chocolate pudding.
- Crumble the cake witha fork until you get smaller pieces and let the cake cool for 30 minutes.
- In a large glass bowl, layer - cake, chocolate pudding and whipped topping until you get to the top.
- The top layer is whipped topping with a garnish of Heath Toffee Bits.
- Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for up to one day and serve.
- * I recommend layering in a glass bowl to show off both the layers of this dessert and the garnish of the Heath Toffee Bits.

Steps:
- Bring all ingredients (except chocolate) to a boil, stirring constantly, until temperature reaches 290 degrees.
- Immediately pour onto a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with nonstick spray. Let set a few minutes.
- While still warm, break up the Hershey bar and crumble over the top. When it melts, spred over the top of the mixture. You can also sprinkle it with chopped nuts if you desire.
- Place in the refrigerator until chocolate hardens, then crack into pieces.

- Crumble up all of the Heath Bars (Note: It's easier to crumble each bar up individually while in package.) Stir together Heath Bars and container of Cool Whip. Tear off Angel Food cake in a separate bowl. Spread thin layer of Cool Whip mixture on bottom of container (sheet cake pan). Put cake pieces on top of Cool Whip spread. Pour pudding over cake pieces Spread the remaining Cool Whip mixture on top. Chill
