1/2 pound smoked kielbasa or Polish sausage, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
3 bacon strips, diced
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1-1/2 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
1-1/2 cups water
2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 kale leaves, torn or 1/3 cup chopped fresh spinach
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream or 2% milk

Steps:

  • In a large nonstick skillet, brown kielbasa and bacon; drain, reserving 1 teaspoon drippings. Add onion; cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes or until onion is tender. Add garlic; 1 minute longer., In a large saucepan, bring broth and water to a boil. Add the potatoes, bouillon and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender. , Add the meat mixture and kale; cook over medium heat for 2 minutes or until kale is wilted. Reduce heat. Add the cream; cook 1 minute longer or until heated through.

1 pound bulk pork sausage
1 cup coarsely chopped onion
4 cups cubed peeled potatoes (1/2-inch cubes)
2 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 can (15-1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
1 can (14-3/4 ounces) cream-style corn
1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk

Steps:

  • In a Dutch oven or soup kettle, cook sausage and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the potatoes, water, salt, marjoram and pepper., Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are just tender. Add the corn, cream-style corn and milk; heat through.

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound uncooked ground turkey sausage (casings removed)
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
1 pound small potatoes (diced into 1/2" pieces)
3-4 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
15 ounces canned fire roasted tomatoes (well drained)
1 cup half and half ((OK to substitute milk))
1 bunch green onions (sliced)

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add sausage, and crumble and brown until cooked through. Sprinkle flour over the sausage, and stir to coat.
  • Add diced potatoes, and pour in enough broth to just cover the potatoes. Bring to a simmer, and reduce heat to medium. Cover and simmer approximately 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender enough to break with a spoon.
  • Stir in drained tomatoes, half and half, and green onions. Bring soup back to a simmer, and cook for 2-3 minutes longer before serving.

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
A dash of hot sauce
2 cups of half-and-half or whole milk

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.

3 cups vegetable broth
16 ounces bag mixed vegetables, corn, carrots, peas, green beans, and lima beans
1 1/2 lbs russet potatoes, chopped in 1-inch cubes
18 ounces cream of mushroom soup
1 onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Prep and clean the potatoes. Pull out the frozen mixed vegetables. Open can of creamy mushroom soup. Chop up the onion. Mince the garlic cloves. And measure out the dried thyme and salt.
  • Coat the inside of the slow cooker with the nonstick spray. This will help the soup to not stick to the slow cooker.
  • Add broth cream of mushroom soup, mixed veggies, chopped up potatoes, garlic, and thyme to the slow cooker. Stir well.
  • Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours. Check every so often to make sure it is not burning at the bottom of the pan.
  • Let it sit for 15 minutes. Serve in a bowl and add Cheddar cheese shredded and ½ teaspoon of Pepper as desired.

1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 minced garlic cloves
3 1/2 cups chicken broth
2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
1 cup frozen corn, thawed
1 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon crushed rosemary
1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt, to taste
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup fat-free half-and-half
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch, dissolved into

1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Steps:
